I had free non-silicone swim cap before these. Comfortable and keep my ear plugs in place. But the quality was not that great like these. Then I switched to silicone from Speedo. Nightmare! After swimming, I got sneezing and itchy head all day for a month. I did not realize because of silicone until dermatologist warning me. So I bought these. I am so glad and love it. Little small for me but ear plugs stay consistently. It is not water resistance and expected.Update: After one week swim, here how it went to. Color changed from blue to slate gray.Not sure how long it will last! 😳

Daughter has curly hair so the rubber swim caps tend to pull it. Putting this on before putting the rubber swim cap really helps prevent the pulling of her hair or just wearing them by themself is fine.

Good hats. Fits my small, adult head. They are perfect to keep sun off my head. They are not waterproof, for anyone needing that. They are soft cloth. Very nice colors.

Some people complain that it's not waterproof. Of course it's not waterproof - it's cloth/nylon. Basically bathing suit material. If you want something that will keep your hair dry, you have to use a different material. But, if you just want something comfortable that keeps the hair out of your face, these are well made with sturdy stitching. My guess is that one cap would last me a whole year and there are 4 in this package!
