Worked As Advertisied
I ordered a Bose Sound Bar 9 via Best Buy and it came without the remote control. Best Buy said I would have to return the entire thing. Not wanting to do that, I got on Customer Service for Bose. They did not have any controls to send me then, so the chat guy directed me to this remote as a useful placekeeper while I waited for the OEM Remote to arrive. Worked great. Cannot use it to pair devices, but it does turn the speaker on and off and control volume.

Perfect for what I needed it for
I just needed a remote to connect my Bose Soundbar 900 to my new WiFi network. I had lost my original remote and Bose wanted $50 plus it would have taken weeks to arrive. This remote worked perfectly!

Basic function works but not full features.
Works out of the box for basic functions but can not be used to put a soundbar 900 into pairing mode for the Bose app or to factory reset a soundbar 900. Those features require two buttons to be pressed at once and this remote can only register one button pressed at a time. Returned and reached out to Bose customer service and got an actual remote for only a few dollars more.

Do not buy to reset Bose smart sound bar 900
According to the details of this remote it was supposed to reset. This would not work when using the combinations for the 900 sound bar to factory reset. I contacted Bose and they sent me a new remote the new remote worked perfectly.Having said that, it works fine for all other functions I tried.So it may be worth it if you don’t need to fully reset it.
