One cut wonder be careful don’t buy cheep
Be very careful when purchasing saxton blades I would call them a one cut wonder , I have been in the joiner manufacturing trade for 30 years using all kinds of Saws and lately circular saws so my experience in vast when I purchased this blade I was pleased with the price the delivery but not the product after cutting approx 150 mt of 4x2 softwood into 200 mm and 600mm lengths The blade was no longer as sharp with spit out on the latter cuts so buy cheep and suffer please be warned. And to add it was planned softwood new no nails in the timber

Dangerous?
This item although is a 225, on my evolution 225sms it is borderline criminal how poor the performance is. When it works it’s fine but when it doesn’t it kicks back, it shatters strip wood and is very very dangerous when cutting small strips.Eye protection is a must as there was splinters and shattered wood going all over the place. It’s cheap but it’s not worth losing your hand over!! It works better with big pieces but definitely not panel mouldings.

Have been using for a few months, much better than stock saw blade.
I have been using this blade for a few months in my mitre/chop saw, much better than stock saw blade and on a par with more expensive main brand blades I have used. Cut 50m2 of engineered hardwood parquet floor and 100s of linear metres of larch cladding with very little chip out compared to the stock blade my saw came with. It is starting to ear on a few teeth, but still performs well, cutting quickly and accurately. I also subsequently bought a blade from a main brand (Teal coloured) when I spotted it on sale in a store and have noticed very little difference from the Saxon blade. I even bought Saxon blades for my table saw and circular hand saw.

Good price for a nice accurate blade
Used this on my Evolution table saw to replace the standard multi-purpose Evolution blade while cutting wood.Creates a very clean cut which is definitely a big improvement over the Multi-purpose Evolution blade. I love the Evolution blade when ripping material that doesn't require a perfect finish. The Saxton one is slower to cut but definitely gives a superior finish especially on cross cuts.

Very Happy
I bought this blade back in May and made approx 2 dozen cuts into 40x40mm timber for a table, I was very happy at that point with the finish of the cuts.I've since used it to cut over 100 pieces of engineered wood flooring to size, towards the end if I was overzealous I got a bit of blowout at the top, but if I proceeded steadily I could get a very nice finish even cutting with the veneer facing upwards. For the money, couldn't be happier.
