Tad Expensive but great set of knives. No rust. She loves them and the edge seems to hold up well. I am a chef and was hoping these would be a great beginner set for an aspiring cook (daughter). They are holding up great.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. EXCELLENT. It came right on time and he loves it.

Super sharp, no nicks, holds edge well, good grip when greasy or wet. A very serviceable and inexpensive set of knives. Downsides? The carbon steel rusts easily, but a quick wipe with coconut oil holds the rusting to a minimum. For the rust that does form, a rub with moist baking soda and aluminum foil takes care of the red spots. There is one knife in my set that did not have the weld between the blade and handle polished out. The steel is inexpensive and doesn't match the set, but it does the job it needs to do.

This is good quality Japanese steel for anyone in search of a knife set to accompany them on their culinary endeavours. This was purchased for our daughter who is studying for her culinary A.S. degree. She is impressed by their quality and ease of use, and the knife sheaths are a must for travelling. Thumbs up!

Great knifes. I used them in a professional kitchen for work. The blade is sharp and has a very nice handle. Decent weight to them also, feels good in hand. The case is great and rolls up when carrying/not in use. Set has everything you basically would need. Would recommend this to any chef, line cook, or anyone at home that wants a nice knife set.

I got this gift for my future father-in-law. He’s a retired chef and just loved his new set. Loved the quality and great detail in each of the knives included. Worth every penny.

I bought these for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. He had asked for a chef’s knife set. I looked through quite a few options. I decided on this for no particular reason as I’m not the cook in the house but it seemed nice. When he opened them up, he was overjoyed. Tonight he’s using them for the first time. “Babe! These are the sharpest knives I’ve ever seen! I’m kind of scared of them...” And he’s hard to please. I highly recommend them to anyone.
