I use these for prepping tattoo flash. They're soft and smooth, perfect for layering sketches.

Good pencils.
They are what they said they'd be. They keep a pretty decent point, I'm doing statistics, and I have small spaces to fill in. I sharpen them like colored pencils, use a little plastic two hole device. I would recommend them unless you can get them made in Germany, Japan, or of course the good old USofA. Good luck with that.
