Fixtures in view
The shelves are well produced but there are no covers to hide the screws and fixtures on the inside and outside of the unit. Many other unit that I have bought and constructed have had covers to hide them. A pitting these are not included - I've had to source these from elsewhere. That's why I'm knocking stars off my rating.

Great product pity about the stickers
Fantastic product, perfectly designed and so easy to put together. So easy for just one person to do (I managed no problem!). However I’m so disappointed that the little stickers naming the panels peel off the paint underneath which has left marks on every panel 😢 which I’ll now have to touch up with paint or something!

Decent enough
Good value for money. Got the 11 shelf version and it seems strudy enough. No screwdriver included so use one that won't give you blisters (40 screws totals). Also don't try to remove panel labls (A, B, C etc) as I caused scratches on the panel.Also.. use 2 people to assemble! Took me a lot longer than 50 mins to do by myself.Overall, would recommend.

Okay at best
Needing additional shelving for my plethora of books and Lego sets, I thought that this Furinno case would do.It arrived quickly and on opening the box, I found the quality to be as expected considering the low, low price. I paid £23, but at time of writing it is a shade under £29! DO NOT PAY THE LATER - it isn’t worth it!On taking out the pieces, I was dismayed to find that some of the corners were chipped, as were some of the edges. I contemplated sending it back, but decided it wasn’t worth the effort. The instructions supplied are easy to follow, and it’ll take you maybe 15/20 minutes to build, all you need is a screwdriver and a hammer. Some of the shelving didn’t have the required holes, some did, some had one hole but not the other, however, the wood is extremely soft and you can simply screw into it without issue. There are stickers provided to cover the screws, but these are awful, you’re best off getting the thicker ones. The only problem you may have it with the backing board, they’re flimsy and not big enough, they always are, so you have to position them carefully and hammer through carefully,The bookcase is light, so I was able to place it on top of another sturdier bookcase. However, on its side I found that the nine of the spaces were able to accept most of hardback books stood up. They have to be lain sideways or else the bookcase needs to be upright instead.Annoying, it I am able to fit my paperbacks and some Lego sets,This is ok, at £23 I’d say it was slightly too much, this feels like a £15 job all day long. Its current price at £28+ is a joke though. Wait until it’s cheaper.

Nicely crafted but thin materials
In my experience this unit seems to have been well crafted, but I'm unsure about a number of features of its construction. Primarily, all of the components are made from 12mm panels, which reduces the strength, though in many ways it seems reasonably sturdy. Construction is straightforward, but not simple, because all the shelves are secured by screwing into the end grain using chipboard screws - which can easily be misdirected and that means they can poke out of the side of the components if you do not take the greatest of care. This only happened once in my case, but I was taking great care. The shelves have added strength due to additional dowels, but perhaps this is why the instructions end with a diagram highlighting a maximum weight of 15 pounds on each shelf (NB: pounds, not kg). It should be noted that the unit is built in two sections which are then fastened together (as though the top section is an add-on to what was previously a unit with two less shelves). It does not spoil the look of the unit, but does it reduce its strength? What surprised me the most was that there was no anti-topple device included, so you would have to make your own arrangements for the safety of children because this is a small-footprint, relatively tall unit. There was some superficial surface scratching on the panels which was only noticeable very close up, which may have been caused in the factory or in transit, but otherwise the package was adequate and well protected. I purchased for £37.99 in an offer and I was mildly disappointed by what I received. If I had paid the current offer price of £48.99 I would have been more disappointed. It's unusual to find a bookcase to fit into a small space such as this does, so from that perspective for me it's a find, but I could only very cautiously recommend it.

Great if on sale
Got this for my daughters room while on sale. Very sturdy and only tool about 10 minutes to put together. Only thing I would say is that it would be nice if they counter sunk the screw holes so the head of screws was flush with the wood. Also better stickers to cover the screws themselves
