Great Needle Nose
Even for twice the cost, they could not feel any better. The spring does a nice job of keeping them open, and the handles feel great in the hand. They say Irwin, but Irwin is Vice-Grip, so it says Vice-Grip on the handle, and Irwin stamped in the metal. I put a little 3-in-one oil on the joint, and rub the metal to keep them like new for a very long time. I use several different sizes of needle nose, not any one pair is good for everything I do. I use this pair more than the others for most things, and a pair of Diamond 4" needle nose for some fine wiring, such as placing small parts in a bread-board. The Diamonds cost way more, and are also very good. I have had them for 20 years and they are still like new. The model of the Diamonds is L4-1. I bought some other Irwin diagonal cutters that are very good too. I am a fan of well made tools, so take that for what it is worth. As for the tight fit that many complain of in some similar products, I can put a paper between the jaws, and while it will hold it fine, I can pull it out with only a little back pressure from the jaws, I could not tear the paper. This test did not matter a hill of beans for the way I use them, I never have anything as thin as paper in them. I use these for small wire, and for that they rank very highly for my taste in tool quality.Amazon will take most things back for nearly no reason, even if you just say you don't like them, or your changed your mind. That's what makes Amazon one of my favorite places to shop.

They are very sturdy and the grips are soft
I had a very old and very rusty needle nose pliers with grips that were falling apart. I needed a replacement and found this on sale. They are very sturdy and the grips are soft, but not so soft that they would break apart. These are the grips that you can get wet and not have to worry, whereas my old old would be wet all day with the grip material. They are easy to use and provide great grip for whatever you are using them for.

Strong, accurate, great design
These are a great set of needle nose, and very nice design. This set gives me the long thin needles I need for control of small, precise parts when working to assemble CNC equipment. Some pliers are not built to tight machinist standards, but these are, they hinge and slide very nicely, and work very precisely. The color scheme helps me find them lightning quick.

Very good quality. Would not use them heavy duty
These work so well. Very good quality. Would not use them heavy duty. Good for moderate to light jobs. The nose would bend back if used on something heavy duty. For the light work I do I love them.

Just good priers
I have a hard time reviewing hand tools as they are personal and different for every person. These fit my hand and are quality made. Even their Chinese stuff has a quality control level that is very high. I occasionally have to grab things over 40 volts (kind of the limit where you start getting "bit") and the handles hold-up to the voltage. I've tried 120v ac without problems.

Spring broke quickly
These pliers have a quality feel and are comfortable to use. However the leaf spring broke within a few weeks. Irwin does not offer a replacement of this type that I can find. The pliers are still useable in some contexts but not others

Awesome Reliable Tools
I use these for work in getting in tight spaces. Irwin makes pretty good tools generally so that's why I paid a little extra for this one. It's worth it and very durable. Grip is nice, and the make is pretty high quality. I would recommend.
