Save your money
As a stand alone unit these suck I have central air in my building that sucks also and to make matters worst I'm on the sunny side of the building but when I cut them both on it does exactly what I brought it for to work in concert with the central air to make for a comfy setting and believe it are not I live in a small studio apartment, SMDH

says 8000 btu, but only 4000 effectively in the manual. Can't even keep a 10x20 room cool. Doesn't get very cold. Have to drain it every 4 hours because the water catcher is so small. This is probably the worst AC we could have purchased. Spend your money on something better.

Completely worthless.
Completely useless. I gave it three stars for "warmth" because it does a great job of keeping things warm. It can barely cool an 8x8 bathroom. It also does a poor job as a fan and a dehumidifier (two of the other "modes" offered). As far as I can tell, the only thing it can reliably do is make a puddle on your floor. Even if the tank is empty, or if you have a hose hooked up, it will leak on your floor. This piece of junk is a complete waste of money.

Will spill water all over the floor
This device will collect water into a catch basin then continue running and dump water onto the floor. There is no sensor to stop it when water collection is full and there is no easy way to drain the water out because the drain plug is at the bottom. Very poor design do not buy this device.

8000btu? Are you sure about that?
I would need to agree with the above written review. This unit does a sub-par job at cooling our 15x20 room. Even if we run it all night, it still doesn’t keep the room cool as soon as it heats back up in the morning. This is very disappointing considering all the other options in the price range. Really only good for a dehumidifier at this point.
