Packaging was damaged
For those who gave bad reviews about the box being damaged… you’ll be fine, you’re not using the box for your menstrual flow ;) take that up with Amazon not Cora. This product has been a life changer whenever it comes to my cycle and its discomforts, cramps are not as bad, flow is not as heavy. I appreciate that there’s a company out there that takes into consideration the toxins women have to put into their bodies on a monthly basis and continue to make changes to better their products.P.S. Please never get rid of your L & R pack, I can never find them in the store!

You HAVE to Try These!
Okay, so I've used Tampax Pearl for 8+ years. The last year, I've had an issue with getting a very mild (just uncomfortable) yeast infection during my period. I thought it was just my body doing something weird...turns out it was more than likely the Tampax Pearl. I'm not sure why...dunno if they changed their product or maybe my body suddenly doesn't like it, but whatever it is, I just can't use Tampax anymore. After a year of struggling, starting probiotics for vaginal health, going to my doctor, and taking way more Diflucan than one person should, it hit me that maybe the tampon I was using was the issue. So I decided to try an organic tampon. After searching, I ran across Cora. I LOVE them. They're super comfortable, comparable absorbency to Tampax Pearl, it doesn't hurt when you take them out (even if they're not saturated), and best of all in my case, I did NOT develop a yeast infection this month during my period!! This is the first period in over a year that hasn't ended in a yeast infection and the ONLY thing I've changed is the brand of tampon.I was a little skeptical when I read some of the reviews, but in my case, I have absolutely nothing negative to day about these tampons. I didn't experience them falling apart inside me and as long as you pull the plunger (the bottom part) all the way out before you try to insert the tampon, there's not an issue with the tampon releasing. I think some women are confused about the "compact" style and don't understand that they have to pull the plunger all the way out so it's sitting completely under the tampon, not enclosed around it, in order for it to release properly inside you.If you want to give these a shot, you can go directly to Cora's website and sign up for a monthly free trial, all you have to do is pay $3 in shipping (and you can cancel your subscription at any time). What do you have to lose??

The applicator sucks big time
These are good tampons very comfortable but the applicator is the worse i would give it 0 stars just for the applicator alone wont be buying again or at least not planning to sorry inserting it is so difficult

Been using these over the past 6 periods, and they're great.
My only complaint is that they do have a plastic applicator with plastic wrapping. As someone concerned about our planet, I try to minimize my plastic waste, but I hate cardboard applicators, and I can't insert tampons without one. Otherwise, these tampons are fantastic. They're organic, which is good for the planet and good for me. They also help provide menstrual products to girls in developing countries.I haven't had any problems with absorbency or leaking. The combination of light and regular tampons in this box is wonderful, since my flow changes from light to regular throughout my period. I do think these tampons are a tiny bit less absorbent than other brands, but if your flow is usually light like mine, this light-regular combo is perfect. I would recommend Cora's higher absorbency tampons for girls with non-light flows. The box says light tampons are for less than 6 grams and regular is for 6-9 grams. The tampons expand in a flower pattern (octagonal design), which I like. Some other brands expand like an accordion, which feels weird to me. The tampons go in and out easily. The applicator is easy to use, and I never have issues with it. It's a compact applicator that fits well in my purse and doesn't accidentally plunge itself while getting shuffled around.I prefer these over 7th Gen tampons, which use cardboard. Cardboard is not quite as bad as plastic, but cardboard is definitely not free from waste, either. If these Cora tampons used biodegradeable plastic, I'd give them 6 stars. Otherwise, 5 stars will do, because these are the best tampons I've ever found. Order them on Subscribe and Save to save a little. I normally pay around $12 for a box of 36.

Using less
Since daughter and daughter-in-law switched, both have found not needing to change as often (even on heaviest of days).

Will continue to use!
I just came off BCP (which had halted my flow) and I'm using fem hygiene products again for the first time in many years. I wanted to find something less toxic and more natural now that there are so many more options available. This did not disappoint. I use these during the daytime and they are very comfortable and easy to use. The applicator could be a little longer for easer use, but I still am able to use it just fine.
