It sneaked into my pocket....
I didn't expect much, I bought it on a whim 6 months ago, it was cheap and had good reviews.I was replacing a Civivi Mini Praxis everyday carry that, frankly, was a disappointment; the hinge didn't last and it's now too loose to use; they don't have replacement parts available. I got this ST103 knife as an afterthought; I was after the Sitivien ST130 because of the 14C28N steel but I came across this one and found it interesting. So I bought both - about $50 for the two.The ST130 is a nice knife and I appreciate the nice steel - but the 103 is sitting in my pocket right now, and I have no desire to swap for something else. The blade is large but not threatening (important because I cross the border frequently) and the sheepsfoot design makes it very handy; I've used it for everything from a letter opener to a carpet knife, with a stint as a landscape knife in between. The D2 steel is hard as blazes and difficult to sharpen but it makes for a very durable edge; strop it regularly and it needs little care otherwise. The hinge has been strong, and I've had no problems just hand washing it with the dishes when needed, no rust or tarnish. I have the "jade" version, it's been very durable; after 6 months hard use it looks new.Overall, one of the most useful pocket knives I've ever owned.

Great knife! Great value!
This knife is very well made. Perfect EDC size and the wharncliffe profile makes the perfect utility blade. Came sharp but a few swipes on the strop put it razor sharp. Large enough to be a decent tactical knife as well. Great value!

High Quality at a Low Price!
For just under $30.00 you really cant go wrong. The Jade handles are very attractive. The blade comes razor sharp, and it comes in a nice little tin case that I've repurposed into a mini first aid kit for bandaids, antiseptic wipes and a few single use packs of triple antibiotic ointment. Awesome little bonus. The D2 steel blade holds a very good edge, and is easy to sharpen when the time comes. Lock up is solid, blade centering is perfect, flicking it open is amazingly smooth. It is a thicker knife and has some weight to it, so keep that in mind if you want something for EDC. Even though I own 2 Benchmade knives, and a few other "Big name" brades, this knife still finds a way into my pocket on a regular basis. If you're debating getting this knife, I would highly recommend it. For the price, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the quality.2 small complaints I did have though, but are easily fixed - The blade can be opened if you hold the handle and really throw the weight of the blade downward allowing it to swing open. Easily fixed by snuggling up the screws just a tad. That said, I never had it open while in my pocket. The 2nd nit-pick I had, the little leather strip the comes with it it's very thin, I'm not sure if it's ever real leather. By no means a concern to me as I generally add my own paracord to all my knives with a lanyard hole. Still a 5 star knife, and would absolutely buy it again! I already plan on buying a few more of the other models just because they are such attractive looking knives and the quality is great.

Solid knife but mod required
Wanted warncliff style blade that I could beat up on a daily basis. I have plenty of other knives but I liked the price, look and materials of this one. One thing that’s hard to tell in the pics is the lip that sticks out through the center of each side of the scales. Since it bugged me I decided to sand it down with a Dremel followed by 320 grit paper to even it out. Normally I would just return a knife I don’t like but the cost of this knife was worth the attempt. Love it now.

Great Quality!
There are so many great choices on Amazon for reasonably priced ($20-$35) pocket knives. Yes, they are Chinese made but we have to give them credit for the quality they are producing. I would rather support our American manufacturers but their quality vs. price is not great. Our Syderco knives were good knives, as they should be, but not anywhere near worth the asking price ($180 for the Para3). There is no justification in paying those kind of prices.I've bought five different Chinese knives now on Amazon. All were rated "4.6" or higher. All were excellent quality and the most expensive was $35. It's really just hard to believe you can buy a high quality knife with D2 steel (excellent) and G10 or Micarta scales in that price range. This knife is no different than the others we bought on Amazon. Amazing quality at an amazing price. My message to the American knife manufacturers: Up your game...increase your quality and decrease your prices. They are ridiculous for what we get.Oh, and don't fall for the "our steel is better than D2" argument. 99% of the people buying these knives will never know the difference. D2 is very good steel and sharpens quickly with a diamond stone like the highly recommend Sharpal (2 sided...course 325 grit, and extra fine, 1200 grit).
