Update - I'm close to harvest my mushroom!------I see some negative comments that complains it doesn't come with spawn.Well it won't, because you need to tell them that you bought the kit - and they will send it immediately.This is to make sure you'll get spawn really fresh.What I like about this kit is I could learn how to grow mushroom from start to end.If you buy "ready to grow" kit then you're basically just doing the last and easiest part of harvesting.If that's your goal(to experience harvesting) then you wanna go for ready to grow kit.This company also sells such kit too.I wanted to learn how to grow mushroom with right set of tools I need and consult with professional.For this purpose, this kit is the best.I got my stuff very quickly (they dispatched the kit within a same day I submitted email for spawn/straw)When I had issues with the progress and wrote email to their support, they wrote me back within a few hours !The support is too good to the level I feel bad for them to buy this kit at such a low cost....so I figured , probably the best thing I can do for them is to leave my detailed experience hereI haven't harvested my mushroom yet but I started to see some mushrooms. Very looking forward to it!

The product was not great value for money with the addition of needing to buy spores.

This was a gift for my parents. They thought it was great and got a lot of mushrooms. The only point. That isn't made clear is reusing the product time and time again. It is true you can buy it entails spreading it out on the floor on a plastic sheet. This wasn't practical and you need a space to do this. I think the seller should be a little more open about reusing this. If you want to use this once and grow mushrooms of different colours go ahead it is great.

Well what can I say... following the instructions I managed to get a small crop and then some unusual fungi started to colonise the straw.. I now know this is a Haresfoot Inkcap mushroom.. within 3 days they had destroyed the areas they grew through the cut sections and also under the polythene where they have just disintegrated and made an awful mess of everything. I've had to cut the bag and throw it all away... shame but sadly Haresfoot is an aggressive mushroom and would just completely colonise the bale and make a terrible mess. I can't think how that mushroom appeared as I was growing in the bag in a sterilised still air box and I've not been in contact with any wild or other cultivated mushrooms... I think ill stick to buying mass produced mushrooms

GREAT KIT -HIGHLY RECOMMENDThis is a great kit! It takes a while for it to start after speaking to the guys it was now quite warm enough, but when it does it’s great fun to watch. The customer service provided was excellent, with a speedy and knowledgeable response pretty much instantly. They taste great, we will be eating them for days

Have bought these for a few people now and they are delicious. Great fun watching them getting bigger and bigger every day. Get a huge crop also.Easy to use and arrived promptlyCouldn't be happier

There are no spawn bags with the oyster mushrooms..It's a scam
