Although the system was a learning curve to learn how to work, it has been such a fun endeavor taking my creativity to the next level!I often use my cricut for crafting and although this is a new system to learn I have enjoyed making leather badges and hat patches with this laser.It looks professional and I hope to start learning on glass sooner than later also. The air assist device was not secured in control panel. When I opened control panel I noticed wires disconnected and hanging. The air assist device ripped the wires free during shipping. I was very disappointed

I am new to laser cutters so just trying to figure it all out. So far has been good, I have made a couple cuts and engravings. LightBurn is new to me but figuring it out. Overall excited about what the cutter can do. Fast shipping actually received a day or 2 sooner than expected.

My k40 was late getting to me, the machine was broken when i open the box, one of the belts wasn't attached, the tempature guages only work we they want, and it's loud. there's no customer support, what i got from them was whats your order number and haven't heard anything. I should have bought the OMTECH K40. Now they want me to make a video of the machine so they can repair it, how are they going to do that without sending it back and waiting for it return. It's just a cheep maching that I have all ready fixed for the most part. DON'T BUY THIS MACHINE.

This thing is junk. It is impossible to get adjusted. I contacted the company to get a refund and they are giving me the run around wanting me to try to adjust more. I have been trying to get this thing working right for over a month and still no luck. Don’t waist your money. These people are very hard to deal with

Don’t buy this machine. Even with highest setting it seriously struggles to cut 2mm basswood. It hardly can etch on slate. The laser is extremely inconsistent if you are making a batch of something for more than 20 minutes. It gets hot very quickly. It cannot engrave powder coated metals no matter what settings you use. It does fair at large engraving with little detail on higher quality wood but other than that it does a poor job. It took me two weeks to start using because customer support would not respond to me about it not connecting to light burn and when they finally fixed that issue I have ten more. A 10W diode laser would probably do you just as good if not better than this machine.

There a big learning curve but very addictive once you get it
