This rebuild kit doesn't include the gas igniter channel. This is my name for the sheet metal part connecting the back ends of the burner tubes together. The pic shows this on the removed burners which are sitting on the kit's burners installed w/my hack channel.The primary igniter clicks/sparks when the middle knob is turned, this lights the middle burner. The gas igniter channel directs gas from the outer burners to the lit middle burner thus igniting the outer burners. Without it, the outer burners need to be lit manually.The pic shows the screws holding the igniter channel to the burners corroded so I couldn't salvage my old one. However w/snips & a pliers I hacked one out of the V-shaped heat deflectors I was replacing (w/the ones in the kit).There was also a defect in the enameling of one of the grates. Inspecting the enamel defect seems the enameling quality is meh, not really bad but low enough this type of defect will be common. I need a cheap way to choke another season or two out of my grill and this kit more or less accomplishes that. If you're expecting to rebuild your grill to a "like new" condition, there are probably better kits.
