I do permanently use vesa mount for my wall). It's easy, instructions are straight forward and the overall build quality is brilliant. The same goes for plugging in the cables to set this monitor up, its very simple and I like that this monitor has a cable cover to help organise and protect your cables if you're using multiple HDMI, display port, USB's etc.Screen qualityThis monitors screen quality is insane. Absolutely brilliant. I first tested watching YouTube on my PC and playing a few games. The display is bright with vivid colours and crisp detail. The HDR is also very good allowing customised presets for Gaming and Cinema (watching films) which I believe is a really nice feature as it just improves the experience of this monitor compared to others.I then swapped to my PlayStation 5 and was again left amazed by the amazing quality this monitor offers, games look fabulous on this monitor and the fact it supports VRR is a whole other bonus in itself. For me, this monitor is brilliant as my PC runs an RTX 3070 which can only do 1440p while the PS5 is of course capable of 8K. I find this little addition a nice touch and I'm very happy with it.Final Comments & summaryOverall, I love this monitor. Yes, it's very expensive, but for that higher price you're getting a monitor that is feature packed, very high quality and absolutely the best of its class in the 1440p range. Republic Of Gamers products are well known for their high quality, this monitor is no different. Not only is it great for Gaming and movies, it's color accuracy means editing and content Creation on this monitor is also very good making it a fabulous all rounder for people who work and play.There are many reviews on here that mention Back-light bleed, yes this is present on this monitor. Is it a massive issue making it unusable? I do not personally think so. Its not noticeable when in general use (Ie. Browsing, gaming, etc) the only time I notice it when the screen is completely pitch black on YouTube.If you do decide to purchase this monitor, I'd like to think you won't be disappointed. ROG have once again made a great product and while very expensive compared to its competitors, it is certainly worth the extra investment.(Also make sure to make an ROG Elite Member account and register the products serial number to earn points to exchange for rewards on the ROG website. This also registers the warranty at the same time)

I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQV for a few weeks now, and I’m blown away by how good it is. The 27” curved WQHD display hits the sweet spot for resolution and screen size — super sharp without being too demanding on the GPU. Games look incredibly crisp and vibrant thanks to the Fast IPS panel and DisplayHDR 400 support.The 170Hz refresh rate (when overclocked) combined with 1ms GTG response time delivers buttery-smooth performance in fast-paced shooters and racers. No ghosting or screen tearing thanks to FreeSync Premium, and it works great with my NVIDIA card too.Color accuracy is excellent out of the box, and the slight curve adds just the right amount of immersion. I also love the subtle ROG aesthetic — sleek and premium without being over-the-top.Build quality is solid, the stand is fully adjustable (height, tilt, swivel, and pivot), and the on-screen display menu is easy to navigate. Also appreciate the low blue light and flicker-free features for long gaming sessions.

Firstly I will write a disclaimer that this is my first "gaming" monitor so I have nothing to compare it to. I previously used a curved 32 inch Samsung monitor also in white, which was 1080p, 4ms and 60hz.PS5 I run this monitor: 120hz, 1440p, VRR on, HDR off, using the HDMI cable that comes with the PS5.PROS:I was getting frustrated with my old monitor, my response was always slow and noticeably getting worse (on COD) and what I was seeing compared to everyone else, was getting more unhinged (I know there are other factors that cause discrepancies but I am specifically talking about how the monitors compare). However with this monitor there is a noticeable difference and I am no longer missing out on keeping up due to response times. My game feels much smoother and runs on 120hz PS5. Overall it is a complete upgrade from what I was using, I can see and feel the difference.On PC I use the monitor for Photoshop and design work. The colour accuracy is decent and there's lot of options to faff about with if you need something more specific, I'll be honest I have not really messed around with it as I am happy with the settings I've personally balanced for both console and PC.I had my PC and my PS5 plugged in to the back of my old monitor using HDMI and a switcher. With this monitor I plug my PC in to the display port using the provided cable and my PS5 in to to HDMI using the console cable and have set it to auto input which is great because the switcher would always disconnect.Everything else, brightness, sharpness etc is as expected. It did take me a while to adjust to the matte coating on the panel compared to my previous glossy curved panel.CONS:Although the price was "discounted" at the time, the white monitor, my preference was more expensive.The first monitor I received had horizontal lines across the panel, this was on show when using both PC and PS5, so I returned the monitor, unfortunately not for exchange and the price went up by £2, miraculously when I repurchased the price instantly went down again.

Excellent screen, it was delivered very quickly and the colours were crystal clear and very easy to use/set up.
