Can you remove the case?

No, you can't remove the case, at least I can't see any means in which to do so.

pc won't recognize it. cant find drivers. what do I need to do?

PC can recognize the tablet. However you may need to first enable Developer Options in the Setting and set it up Follow these steps: 1. Go to Settings -> About Tablet and tap on the Build number 7 times to enable Developer Options Then go to System -> Developer Options -> Default USB Configuration to make your choice. You may want to deactivate the Developer options when finished. I hope that helps

How bright is the screen, how many nits?

You can use the tablet normally in daylight and see the content on the screen clearly. Screen brightness: 380nit.

Can you make phone calls with it?

This small tablet makes calls excellent on VoLTE 4g..other tablets say 4g LTE but when you make phone calls it just says LTE or LTE+ which suck. I have tried 7 different tablets with phone app preloaded,all of them failed to make clear and stable phone calls except this one.it really makes and receives calls like a normal phone.ive found that it HAS to say VoLTE 4g..,not just LTE or LTE+..
