This is great for me and the cat's love it as well! It's definitely pet friendly and it really separates the hot from the cold. It's incredible for my situation. I only bought 1, that's all I needed but, I would buy as many as I needed, if I had too!

I used this to close off a portion of the house that connects to a large room that is poorly insulated and I didn't want to heat when we weren't using it. Unfortunately, if I put a door up, I lose the natural light that comes in through the windows. This door was a great solution. It was easy enough to put up and lasted the entire winter season with daily use, kids, and dogs going through repeatedly. It does get a little smudged and is not easy to get a very clear clean on a moveable sheet, but until the end of the season it hadn't sustained any tears and really kept the cold and the drafts out. I left up the Velcro from last year and purchased another curtain. It took me maybe 10 minutes to put up. Highly recommended this product.

I needed this for a door-less interior doorway closing off my bedroom from the rest of my apartment. During this smoldering heat, my ac was struggling mightily. Installation was easy, and the unit is very effective. Now my bedroom is way, way cooler and my ac is cycling much more efficiently. For this price, I wasn't expecting much, but this thing really surprised me.... what a great value! It's the perfect solution to a tough problem. One piece of advice- try to hang the top low enough on the frame to get the panels low enough to the floor. I left about 3.5 cm, it's supposed to be 2 and I advise 1 at most to really form the best possible weather seal.

Good quality for the price. The magnets are strong and the opening closes up every time I walk through. It was easy to install and the thermal aspect of this curtain is good. I would buy again.

I leave near Chicago, summer average temps in the mid-80s. Fall and spring weather (when AC is OFF) is use the magnet screen. For the hotter summer months, I bought this to keep the Patio doors open for the dogs and keep the AC in the house. I have a plastic Patio Sliding door, so magnetics work good.Now this doesn't 100% keep the AC in the house, but it does maintain a descent barrier. You can tell a difference when walking from inside to outside. If the Outside temp is above 90F, I do not leave the door open for the dogs.As for the Velcro that comes with these magnetic doors. I buy 3M 2inch velcro separately from my door frame. As the velcro that comes with the magnetic door has poor glue.

Let me tell you I love in Indiana and the winter weather is running 0°-12° this week very cold. My apt is cold all the time. Our sliding glass door sucks and keeps it cold in the apt. We set the thermostat at 71° we woke up to it being 63° in the apt. I received this today put it up right away. I must say it was really easy. I did add window seal tape to help it stay in place. Within 20 mins of getting it up the temp in the apt went from 63° to 70° WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! I highly recommend this for anyone who has old sliding glass doors that leak. And my chihuahuas rabbit and cat love they can still see out the window.

Had this for 3 days and it tipped on the top and bottom where the plastic meets the magnets. I have 2 labs and the run fast thru it but 3 days? Not worth the $40 at all. I put black duct tape on the top but that was a waste of time. The plastic is too cheap. Need a higher mil of plastic…

Indoor use only. They are thin and the magnets can’t handle outdoor breeze. Use where appropriate
