I did considerable amount of research before purchasing this window cleaner. This product did not have a review but as this is the 3rd Leifheit product I have purchased (I have bought the tongs and the mandolin) and it is up to the usual standard that you would expect from a German product.I bought it to clean the glass of the conservatory and it is great for the job.It has an extending pole which is made of metal so doesn't go bendy, a head that can be angled, washable and replaceable sponge and the head can be disconnected from the pole. The squeegy, like most cleaners, is a bit stiff but will soften with use.I have just found out that Chulmleigh Homewares, the supplier, also has the replacement Leifheit terry cloth, Ers.-Vlies 32cm f.Plus3 Handfensterwischer, it is quite pricey especially as the postage is high.There is also a 3 year guarantee.What more could I say?

Living in a windy area, we get our windows very dirty very quick. So after a few failures with cheap squeegees I decided to try this one. I looks like a good make with quality products. I like that everything is interchangeable and you can have different attachments. The length of a pole up to 190cm is not enough to reach the first floor widows but its perfect for the ground floor and I have a very high window inside the house that cant be reached otherwise. I achieved good streak free cleaning after a few trial and errors. The trick is to use the squeegee bit with very little pressure almost allowing its own weight to do the job. The only thing is, the little slider that keeps the head in place is fiddly to use and if not pushed properly, the head does not stay in place. Cant comment on its durability as I only had it a couple of weeks.

I am so pleased with this window cleaning system. I am not too keen on getting up step ladders to reach the top of all our main windows. I bought the extending pole and clip on duster some weeks ago to reach possible cobwebs on our very high staircase. Now I can clip on the window cleaner, or the pad to wash shower room tiles, and the one for wet wipes on floors. It is an excellent system. I especially recommend it to folks who don't like ladders.

This worked great for my windows, I’m using a Leifheit 4 meter pole as well to do the upstairs windows, it’s a solid bit of kit that washes the window well and the rubber is of a good quality on the other side so the water can be scraped off the window, if done properly it’s even smear free!, the seller was great and even hand delivered it to me when the first one failed to show up.

This review concerns the width of the product, advertised in the product description as '..Handle Click-System Compatible, 32 cm', also as 'Versatile size - With its 35cm wash width', and also as (From the manufacturer) 'Wiping width is 33 cm'. In fact as you can see from the photos, the cleaning width with the microfibre is 29cm and the squeegee width for drying is 29.5cm. I'm considering returning it as 'not as described'. Meanwhile, before I possibly use it, my impression is that it is of reasonable quality in itself, though the 'swivel to any one of three possible handle positions' feature is unnecessary if you only as I do want to use it by hand and not on a telescopic pole - you can just alter your grip. Having the swivel feature means there is some slight play between the handle and head which already slightly annoys me before any use of the thing, and the retaining clip is just something to go wrong in the future whereas a solid handle/head would avoid that. The squeegee blade looks of superior quality to the type I'm used to from pound shops etc. The fleece looks good and solid. My 3* ratings are just a middle 'it's ok but has disappointed for the reasons above' kind of score.

Really useful device for getting rid of spider webs and cleaning round cornices.

Its hard to get excited about a window cleaner on a pole, but this is very well built, so much so that the telescopic pole is quite stiff to move, and has a 3 year guarantee. It seems very flexible in use; it can be angled easily and locked into a choice of positions. It won't fall apart easily either, as the head is clipped into place. The pads can be replaced which is not the case with all of this type of tool. I think I'll enjoy cleaning my windows with it but I guess that technique is as important as the tool in getting a good results. I bought this because I needed a window cleaner I can use from floor level for my high sash windows as am tired of balancing on a ladder to do this. BUT I also found that this manufacturer has a range of tools that clip onto the same handle and I needed a tile cleaner as well, which is what decided me to buy this make. It's a bit on the heavy side but that's about the build quality as well.

I can clean all my windows in no time.
