I recently bought this product for my 3-year-old daughter, and she adores it! There are 34 pieces of sushi, plates, chopsticks, condiments, and cups! What's particularly impressive about this set is that when you shine the LED light on the surface of the sushi, the color of the food changes, adding to the fun.The set is extremely realistic, especially for the price of $20! The materials used are safe and sturdy, made of drop-resistant and easy-to-clean ABS materials that do not contain BPA or harsh chemicals. I don't have to worry about my daughter breaking any of the pieces while playing with them.It's been a lot of fun watching my daughter play with this set. She enjoys slicing sushi rolls and pretending to be a chef. I've also noticed that since receiving this set as a gift, she's become more interested in cooking.I would highly recommend this Sushi Set to any child who enjoys imaginative play and enjoys playing with kitchen sets. It's an excellent way to foster their creativity while also teaching them the fundamentals of cooking. My daughter is about to be 8 and loves sushi. She loves to eat it and when I told her I could get her a fun kit to "make sushi" She practically begged me for it. This set is beyond cool! It looks realistic, all the fish are able to be removed from the rices and the color changing or "cooked" feature with the light is totally cool. It works great & it's a really unique idea. Especially since I don't eat my sushi cooked so when we pretend play She can even cook it for me. Great set. Sparks creativity.

I've tried a few other sushi sets and they just come across as wooden blocks. This is pretty high quality especially for a 4 year old. It's great the chopsticks come with the Velcro bind but the torch is pretty neat. My daughter loves sushi and loves to make pretend she owns a sushi restaurant. Its surprisingly creating opportunities for her to be creative.

Item set is nice and seems very complete and realistic. Well thought out. Only issue I had was the torch - the pieces I had unfortunately didn't change color or get darker as photos and videos showed. I think only 1 fish had changed color slightly but hard to tell. Others didn't seem to change and I tried many many times. Overall the toy is good so I didn't bother exchanging it. But it would have been nice had it worked for my particular set. Great variety included!

4yo asked for a “shushi” set for bday and this fit the bill. Love the color changing and cutting features.

I ordered the Sushi Slicing Play Food Set for my 5 year old granddaughter. She likes sushi and potstickers! It’s a very creative set and has plenty of pieces. She loved this set and immediately began to set up a restaurant to serve our dinners!!

The sashimi pieces resemble the real thing and are even able to be “torched”. I love that the blow torch actually blackens the fish. It doesn’t stay for very long but it does work. It you want it to appear boldly, you do have to torch it for a solid minute (which can be long).The plates and cups are extremely small, and I wish they were a little bigger. The chopsticks are kinda iffy but work as well as to be expected. Originally I thought the whole set was wood but I missed that in the description. Overall it’s a cute set that includes almost anything you’d find at a sushi restaurant.

The quality seems pretty good. Got this for my daughter for Christmas and she actually enjoys playing with this sushi set.
