So, it's not 1.5" height , as advertised...?

The thickest part of the cushion is about 2.5" and the thinner part of the cushion is about 2", top to bottom is about 14.5"

What’s the best way to clean/wash this?

I use ethyl alcohol in a spray bottle and a wet rag one mine
