Worth its weight in gold!
Putting a new touch screen Carplay compatible radio in my mother-in-law's Kia Soul and ordered one of these to go with it. I was able to fully build the wiring harness for the new radio before I even started working on the car! All of the pins are present and I was even able to connect the steering wheel controls to the new radio. Being able to build the harness on the bench before the install allowed the use of soldered, waterproof connections and it made the installation a breeze! I can't even imagine how much time it saved me and the factory harnesses are unmolested! Great product!!

Works for 2012 Hyundai Elantra
Works perfectly for 2012 Hyundai Elantra, including the steering wheel controls without any additional interface modules. Just the wiring harness itself lets the steering wheel controls work. This may be specific to the aftermarket radio you have though. My radio came with SWC wires which I was able to solder to the SWC wires on this harness, and the radio had software built in to map the SWC controls to any function. Have not been able to get the factory microphone (built into the car) to work though, which is ok since my radio came with its own mic, just have to run the additional wiring.

Used on a 2012 Sonata Hybrid w/ AVH-2300NEX
For the purpose of installing a radio head unit, the Metra 70-7304 worked well. However it only included the pins required for stereo installation. Without the rest of the pins I could not integrate the 2012 Sonata's build in USB, AUX, and MIC without tapping directly into the car's wiring harness. Kinda of a bummer. If anything, sell the additional pins with wires and make the 70-7304 customizable.

This has the Steering Wheel Control wires on the harness!!!
I was trying to hookup my steering wheel control buttons to a new aftermarket stereo I purchased and I read lots of reports that it's hard to get the SWC to work without having to find the SWC wires and splice into them or buy something else to get them to work. But this harness has the wire that goes to PIN 4 that you attach the KEY 1 head unit wire to and the wire that goes to PIN 17 which is the ground. That's on my 2015 Hyundai Accent. Once I wired those together my head unit had a learn feature and I programmed the SWC keys. They work great! I haven't figured out how to get the talk button to work on mine yet, but I'm happy with the purchase. I also purchased their dash kit for this and it was really nice! Stay AWAY from the Scosche dash kit, it's like putting your stereo into a hole! The Metra dash kit is way better!

Definitely a plus
If you're gonna take the diy car audio adventure, this is a must. Once you wire it to the unit, it clips right into the factory harness. It illuminates the guesswork without sacrificing the factory install which is important so you can reverse, or upgrade later.
