sticky stuff
I ripped a parka so I wanted to patch up the small hole with sticky duct tape. Got navy blue and the colour matched perfectly. You will need sharp scissors to cut it.Anyway, it did the job and saved me buying a new winter coat. Any more rips and I'm covered. I have enough tape to cover the entire parka. That's a thought....

Does not stick to nylon fabric
I bought this to repair a handbag made of nylon/polyester fabric. There were cut edges that I wanted to bind making a neater edge. This duct tape just peeled off within minutes. May work better for totally smooth surfaces
