I've been a health & safety rep for a number of years, so ensuring that I have the right equipment at home within my first aid kit has always been a given, just like at work. This eye wash kit is really useful for irrigation in the event of injury or eye irritation. It's one of those kits you don't really know you need until you do. This comes in the standard blue package, which is wall mountable via a bracket, or you can have it free standing, and clearly marked with what it is. In the box you get 2x 500ml, 2x 20ml sterile fluids for irrigation and 2x eye bandages. To note, like fire blankets and first aid kits, the contents do have a shelf life and will need replacing at the end of it. For the, probably overcautious me, this is an essential piece of emergency kit to have not just in the workplace but also at home.

This set is something I never gave too much thought about however I do suffer from a eye condition and I’m not supposed to rub my eyes so if I were to get something in them this will be a perfect way to be able to wash the impurities out without having to rub my eyes. I’m impressed at the way it arrived and is packaged in that it comes in a plastic case like you would see if it was a first aid kit in and inside is 2 x 500ml of saline solution 2 eye pad bandages, 2 eye washes. The instructions come on the actual bottles which I read as it sounds daft but if something happened I wouldn’t be able to read the instructions if I were home by myself but the process is very easy to follow. This is a great kit for us at home whether it’s for me or another family member, considering what this and what it does i believe its very good value for money.
