Q: What is the recommended. Size for the required hard drive.

We sell systems with or without hard drive, please check carefully in the title and choose the one you need, if you want to install a hard drive on your own, you can choose a hard drive up to 4TB.

Q: I can view remotely via my mobile phone, although it eats the battery! Is it possible to access via the internet on laptop, if so how do you do it?

Yes you can view remotely via computer or tablet but how its done is beyond my IT capability's, sorry

Q: How easy is this system to install. How easy are the cameras to install outside. Would it need a proffesional to do this ???

Hi, I only needed on camera for the front of the house - but put a lot of time into location planning before I started. I wanted to use the app for remote access to the camera, so my box needed a wired connect to router. I measured the cables between the box, camera, power and router to determine the optimal location for each before any drilling that minimised any wires on show. Once I was sure of the locations - the Install was fairly simple. The angle i wanted meant the camera was about 2 meters off the ground so I could use a standard ladder. I drilled through the external wall with a 5mm masonry first as a guide, then used 20mm masonry. Ran the cable through, tested the system, then fixed the camera to the outside wall. Took me about an hour in total. If you have a decent drill, bits, ladder and fixings, you should be fine to do it yourself
