I have only just received this so am giving a limited review. The medium is very dark for a fair skinned person, even with a moderate tan. It would match a deep tan better. The feel is good and it does not enhance wrinkles or make skin look too dry. The matte is reasonable with a very faint 'glow' to it, but not shiny. I'm not sure about the depth of cover however or durability. Until I get the next shade down its difficult to build it up without looking unrealistically tanned and a bit 'orange'.

This powder foundation is so light for daytime wear but you can build it up for nights out. It doesn’t clog or look cakey on your skin. So easy to apply. I bought the lightest shade as I’m fair skinned but probably could have gone a shade darker. I’ve chucked all my liquid foundations in the bin after this.

I normally use Laura geller baked balance and brighten foundation, which you apply with a brush. It's great but being a woman of a certain age I read that this one was great for tropical moments and stayed on and doesn't budge. So I thought perfect I'll give it a go. I should of read the description properly as you apply this one with a sponge. Pink side is to apply dry and the white you dampen to apply it wet. I tried the pink side. Wow its like I've applied it with a trowel. It sinks into all of my character lines and the colour is very pale. I chose the same colour I usually use in the baked variety but this makes me look deathly pale. So took it all off and tried again. Still not really happy on how it looked, I went out for a walk. By the time I got back the foundation had separated under my eyes and looked awful. I'm gutted as it's not cheap and I can't return it as I've used some of it. Looks like it will be permanently in my drawer. Lesson learnt, I'll stick to my usual foundation.

Face, very good coverage

Great product for my skin. Build up for coverage of any blemishes. My skin is currently very dry in some places but can get greasy with liquid foundation. I’m nearly 50 and find some foundations lay in creases but this doesn’t. I’m prone to breakouts but found if I build this up and use a setting spray it has full coverage. I only wear makeup for about four hours ever so often but I think this would last all day. Will invest in more Laura geller products gradually as it’s slightly above my normal price for cosmetics but worth it. You get what you pay for.

My go to foundation, suits my 60 year old skin, leaves me with a great finish and d doesn’t dit in my wrinkles!

This was recommended to me by a friend, as I used to use bare minerals ready wear foundation powder till they changed their formula. I really like the way the Double Take Baked powder covers imperfections and gives medium to full coverage . I haven't tried it with using water, as suggested to give a more pronounced finish, as am happy with the coverage from the powder. Although there is a powder puff applicator I like to use a brush to apply the powder foundation .I will definitely be purchasing this brand again
