Hycote Matt Lacquer Spray Paint, 400 ml:Good value at £5.69 a can. Going by the smell, this lacquer has a high nitrocellulose content, so don't expect fantastic scratch resistance. But it's easy to work with, fast drying and can be overcoated after 15 minutes, with no need for keying in-between coats.

Good does exactly what it says a matt lacquer rather than the traditional shiny version

I recently bought some 3D wall panels in stone effect and they were shiny so looked fake. I tried Rust-Oleum matte lacquer and that didn’t work so I bought this. I applied 4 coats and although it didn’t get rid of the shine 100%, it has made the panels Matt enough to use so I’m happy. The photos show before and after. I applied it outdoors and with a mask on as the smell of the spray is very strong

This is not 'non yellowing' as is described, totally ruined my motorcycle tank after spending hours spraying it from bare metal then to be ruined by this top cout which furned my white tank into blotchy yellow. Contacted company to complain but couldn't be bothered to acknowledge my complaint
