Cordless freedom but watch your "Safety"
I like freedom of a cordless ChainSaw but this is long term investment. My folks and me are tired from gas pulling but wanted more options. I choose this from reviews and verify what I wanted from this unit. For it's price and performance this worked well as I also bought a 16" version from another brand to complement having 12" and 16" for various task. Make sure to buy "Bar/Chain Oil" ahead of time if you don't have it. And also "Watch" your safety this is all in purpose a "ChainSaw" and can do serious damage - this is "NOT" a toy to be thinking so to put yourself at risk. Also the charger is "Bigger" then what I expected so give it some room to charge when you setup the unit. I will update this as future uses of this progress. Battery life could use more then 2.0AH maybe 4.0AH battery at 40v might be more worth this tool.

Gets the job done
I’m 75-year-old woman and I’ve never operated a chain saw before. But I was able to assemble and operate this chain saw effortlessly. I give it 5 stars on that basis alone, since I just got it.

ideal for small/medium jobs where quick setup is easy and it so quiet : )
Some of the pictures show a hard nose bar and others show a sprocket nose bar. Electric saws IMHO should benefit even more from the reduced friction of a sprocket nose. The unit I received has the sprocket nose bar, so that is nice. I am old and have three different size gas chainsaws and thought I would pass on the electric versions, however electric seemed awesome for trimmers etc. Anyway I think this electric saw might convince me that I was wrong. : ) So convenient and quiet, though in someways I miss the sound...

Far better than expected for emergency removal
Our pecan tree decided to drop an enormous limb that surrounded my Tundra and miraculously didn't scratch it a bit. Was looking for an easy to use saw to cut the 19-in diameter limb, and figured it would take two or three charges of the battery to get through it all.I could not have been more wrong, the saw sliced through everything without chatter or complaint and when finished, I still had three out of four LED lights of battery life left.I used to own a 26-in bar McCullough in Colorado, and cut down 80 to 100 ft dead standing pine trees. So I have a little bit of experience with using a chainsaw, and have to say, this was a pleasant surprise.

Great saw
I gotta say this is a great little saw. Worked for a couple hours on one charge but slowed down when it got to two bars. Charged back up in less than an hour. Cut through small limbs like butter and through some 8-10 in pieces pretty quickly as well. Only bad thing is it only comes with 1 battery. Company sent saw + 1 battery to Alaska but won't ship another single battery here. Will have to buy and send to my daughter in lower 48 and have her mail to me. Makes no sense but whatever. For $100 on sale I'd buy it again.

It works to good
I got it for me but my husband hardly ever uses his gas chain saw anymore. He grabs mine. It’s so easy to use and gets the job done. Great for cutting regular size limbs on my tree. I have never tried to cut a tree or anything like that with it.
