Never had a Plasma cutter so did the usual research on forums and you tube and opted for the YESWELDER brand as many had recommended it for both reliability and ease of use. Set-up was easy after watching several videos as the manual is a bit disappointing. As a newbie to this process it does take practice so don't expect perfect results out of the box, it takes time to learn the settings , speed for different thickness and type of materials. I am very happy with this Plasma Cutter and would highly recommend it. If I had one critism and that is the cost of consumables form YesWelder, so in the future will probably use other suppliers for these.

The plasma cutter works very wellThe only big concern I would have is that it is shipped with a 13amp plugReading other review I looked into the plug and on first look looked fine bit look closer the fuse has had a bigger wire soldered on to the fuse which I'm my opinion is very dangerousDid not bother me to much as I have 16amp sockets in my workshop so changed the plug to 16ampJust be awareOther than that it's a good bit of kit

The cutter is HF, but not PILOT ARC. Therefore a light touch is needed to start the arc. All the fittings on the regulator were leaking. The 13amp UK plug is underrated. According to the machine, this needs to be 27amps 220v, therefore needs to be a 32amp 3 pin plug. The fuse in the plug did not blow at 13amps, checked supply and it was running 20amps at the time. The supply lead is 2.5mm2 core, this needs to be 4mm for 32amp.The torch and ground lead are good, as it the machine itself. Seems to hold up to heavy cutting.Disappointing really as the reviews on YouTube (USA) were good.... I was in two minds to return the machine as it was not as described, therefore breached Consumer legislation. I might just do that anyway...

Wasn’t sure about this but once my compressor was rigged up and messed with settings cuts 5mm mild steel no problem. Just be aware that the instructions are complete NONSENSE you have to figure it out yourself but it’s easy once set up. Don’t know how they can send instructions that don’t mean anything but that’s my only gripe

Good at cutting thro thicker plate, you need spare tips if ypur cutting a lot of thicker metal, thin sheet tips last ages

Nice piece of kit, slight bit of assembly water separator, connect the torch, ground connection, air line, if you can use a TIG or MIG Welder, this is no more difficult. It was well packed delivered on time…and just…worked out the box, looks and feels like a quality unit…significantly better than the hitbox unit I bought the week before that the supplier knew was faulty before it was shipped (see my other review)The Yeswelder plasma cutter isa YES from me and with the low frequency, non contact start, this will be used free hand and merged in to my CNC machine I’m building

As a trades man I honestly thought this would be a load of rubbish that if it worked lasted all if a day - happy to say totally wrong. Works faultlessly and doesn't blow the electrics on a 16amp spur!

Took a few minutes to get the best out of the machine. But most of the problems we're the operator (me). Watch a u tube video or two, it helps.
