Q: I’m in need of the one with mic also... need speakers with mic together, does this come with the mic?

I don’t believe this came with any of the microphones.

Yes, I use this with Sena ‘s Bluetooth headset.

Q: How is the sound and volume compared to the full size?

The sound is good and the volume is good also,I wear with a full face helmet and have reduced road noise but I would recommend this product.

More volume than the original speakers. Fits nicely in the pockets in my Shark helmet.

Slimmer than Original.

Great value for money, slimmer than the originals so comfort level increased, note, the mic does not come with them, sound quality is about the same as original, slight improvement in volume.

Small and slim

Great product, put them in my son's helmet for his first ride and made the whole experience great for him, my daughter used to complain that the others we used to have hurt her ears, these are a great upgrade.

Make sure you don't already have these.

A warning to all those users of the Sena SMH5FM intercom who want better sound from the helmet speakers. These "larger" speakers are 40mm diameter and 6mm thick. The original speakers that were supplied with my system were also 40mm diameter and 6mm thick.It's quite simple. Only buy these if you have the smaller speakers.

Working a treat

The cable snapped on the original set_up. These were an inexpensive replacement and restored full sound.
