Put on window sill to stop our 3 dogs from scratching up working so far been a little less than a month

this stuff is absolute trash. Very difficult to apply, and forget about applying it smoothly. Impossible. But the worst thing is how impossible it was to remove. This was supposed to be a temporary fix for keeping my dog from scratching my glass sliding door….when I tried to remove it a week later in favor of something easier/more attractive, it took me TWO DAYS to remove it using pliers and a razor blade. It was so stuck that I was afraid the pulling I was doing to get it off would break the glass. Plus, the top layer of plastic, the protective part, immediately pulled away from the adhesive so that I had to scrape the gunk off meticulously with a razor blade and use pure acetone on the glass to remove the leftover sludge of adhesive. I wish I’d never tried this stuff and could get back the hours i spent trying to wrestle with it on both ends—application and removal. Save yourself the money and the time and avoid this product.

Once one side was stuck on the door, plastic cover film can’t be removed to make it work - so it’s useless. If you try to peel the cover film off, the sticky part comes off the door too and it peels the paint/finish off your door. If you do manage to separate the sticky part from the cover film by force or tweezers, the sticky part just breaks off into tiny pieces. Entirely a waste of money.
