Q: Can I use this with my (non-surge protected) jump leads to protect my campervanvan's electronics. If so, how do I wire it up?

The PROSAF simply clips onto the battery terminals with the red lead to positive and black to negative. If you plan to jump start your campervan, then you can connect the PROSAF across the campervan battery, and then connect the jump leads to the campervans battery and then to the battery to be used for the jump start. The difficult bit may be to get the PROSAF clip and the jump lead clip onto the positive terminal of the battery at the same time. The negative side is not so bad as there is often a ground wire or terminal you can connect to. The PROSAF would help to protect the campervan electrics from a voltage spike during the jump start.

Q: I have a red light on ,that says change fuse ....where is the fuse please ...?

If the red light is on the PROSAF protection device then the manual says it must be returned to a dealer for service. I do not think it has any user serviceable fuses.

Q: will this protect your car electronics when mig welding without having to removing the battery?

I bought one to use when MIG welding without disconnecting the battery and all still appears fine with the car a year later.
