This Chrono is worth every penny, super simple to set up and use, the app that you can download for it isn't needed for use at the range but gives you the ability to save and print out your shot data later. The battery life is outstanding, and the screen is easy to read in bright sunlight. The only thing I have to complain about is it doesn't come with a case from Garmin. Several other retailers offer one that the unit and mini tripod fit nicely into but at the price point for this chrono it should come with a protective case. I was on the fence for a long time thinking about purchasing one but after having and using it for 6 months it's in a class all by itself.

This is not a complaint, just an observation: the entire unit is no larger than a deck of playing cards. The instructions are simple, even for me, to understand and I wil be testing it out for the first time in 4 days.

It works well. I used it on a busy range, and it was unaffected. I will warn to keep it out of direct sun on a hot day. Mine gave a warning that it was getting hot. I made a shade for it with my range bag that solved the problem. The convenience of not having to fiddle with putting up a chronograph down range, and not worrying about shooting the chronograph. Make this a great buy.

I bought this for my husband because he always wants to show me the idiots on the road. Je likes the 180 view, the record on verbal command (and it catches moments b4, when you ask to record), easy hook up and ability to expand. Liked it so much I bought a 2nd for myself.

It is very easy to setup and use. I like that you can use it with any firearm, I have only tried rifles and pistols, nothing else. I have used other chronographs and this is the quickest to setup and operate.

This little unit is very well made, and it is small and will fit in a shirt pocket. and is easy to set up. I have not used it yet. A friend of mine has one and said it works great.
