Great Nerf Rifle!
Bought for a "Special Ops" game for 6th graders. It was a HUGE hit! Perfect sniper rifle for our game!

Good enough
It satisfys my reason for purchase cosplay and bolt action fidgeting but as a actual nerf gun the included darts are inaccurate, you get what you pay for

Nonfunctional within 15 shots.
... so, usually, I'd give a nice, in-depth review of something like this. One of the things I do is 100 shots to test power and accuracy. 15 shots in, there was a loud 'crack', and now it doesn't work - can't open the bolt, trigger's frozen, et al. So, you get a much shorter review. The stock's wobbly. The front cap of the stock required several hits with a rubber mallet to get it to seat. The scope makes things *smaller*. The bipod works right. The paint is good. The barrel and faux silencer are good. The darts aren't particularly accurate, but they do hit the advertised range. Can't say I'd recommend it even if it didn't self-destruct on me.

Shoots far!
This toy gun is a lot of fun for my kids. I originally ordered it for my 7 year old son. He absolutely loves it, however, it is really long, so not always as easy for him to carry around. I included a picture of the gun next to my son so you can see how long it is. He loves how the empty shells eject out of the gun as he is shooting it. I don't think this gun has ever jammed on him. The shells are bright orange which is nice because you will need to collect them to put your bullets into to shoot the gun again. This toy gun shoots pretty far and can sting when you are shot with it, however, my kids still love it! Even my 13 year old son likes to play with it. It is more suitable for target practice or being a sniper, rather than a foam dart gun battle because you cannot pick up any foam dart that someone shoots at you to reload. There is a scope and other accessories that can be put on or kept off. Overall my kids love this gun. We have had it for several months now and they still like playing with it.

This thing is so darn cool! The shell ejection is awesome, and it's also pretty accurate & powerful
This thing is so much fun, and it gives a semi-realistic experience because of the shell ejection and the elaborate nature and functionality of the gun itself. It is pretty powerful, and I will say that the hard tip darts are a lot more powerful and accurate than the suction cup ones. This comes with plenty of ammo and shells, and the gun itself has a pretty good heft to it which I think is a good indicator of quality. I also think it's pretty durable because my nephew and I were running around in an unfinished basement and he dropped it pretty hard directly on the cement floor and it didn't hurt the gun at all.I also don't really see much reason for concern in terms of safety because all of the moving parts have rounded / smooth edges so there aren't any pinch points that I noticed. I bring this up because I have another similar one that has a folding stock and I've pinched my own finger when closing it before, so this one is definitely safer IMO. I would definitely recommend this, but I do think you should adhere to the age suggestion just because it is relatively powerful and has some small parts.

Recommend for outside use only, trust me on this one
Highly recommend this be used outside to avoid additional chaos in the house like we experienced :-) This made a great gift for our son's birthday. The price point is fair given this seems to be decent quality. This comes with a scope and different types of bullets that can be loaded into this gun. The gun ejects them once shot. We live on a farm and it is used to "shoot" all types of things around here. We have lost several of the bullets over time - mom and dad are not complaining :-) The plastic is durable but light weight. Realistic look and even comes with a scope. This would make a great gift and can be used to teach about gun safety and proper handling of a weapon. We have been happy with this purchase so far.

Just has enough details and fidget points that you can get lost in your imagination with it.
If I got this as a kid this would of been one of the coolest most memorable gifts ever. There's just enough details in this to make very easy to get lost into having fun with it. I would of loved this as a child but probably have broken it within 2 weeks. The build quality is so so. It's molded plastic, and it isn't the best molding. If you get this for a kid, try to have an adult (a real adult) help put it together. Some of the parts requires a little elbow grease to get on, and you don't want to use excessive force because it will probably break this thing. The rifle comes in several parts that fit together, and as mentioned some of them are pretty tough to put on. I wouldn't be surprised if a kid playing rough with this breaks it fairly quick. It doesn't feel robust at all.Once it's together it's a bolt action type rifle that requires you to go through the whole process. I found that not fully pulling back, pushing forward, and then locking down the bolt in sequence will make the rifle jam. It doesn't break the gun, it just means you have to pull back the bolt again and retry and eject the unused foam round. This is only annoying because each magazine only holds 4 shots, so you will find yourself removing and putting magazines in more often than you think. All the extras are just fun. They really don't do much, but they are fun little extra pieces of flavor. The bipod works, and allows you to shoot prone or table top just fine. The sight doesn't do anything. You can see through it, but there's no zoom factor...in fact it might be a negative zoom, but it's fun non the less. The rubberized stock is adjustable, but when you do fire the dart and realize it goes like 15 feet at the most before dropping severely you realize it's all just for fun and show. I love these extras, it really does make the imagination soar, but it really doesn't do anything practical.Once again, this would be a very memorable gift. For a heavy handed kid it probably wont last long, but while it does last it's really really cool. At $55 it's pretty pricey, but it is unique and really fun. My wife and I had a blast shooting some Funko pop dolls with it (Sorry Cyndi Lauper) and it worked great the whole time as long as we made sure to do the whole bolt action sequence.
