Handy for the kitchen, when you can’t stand for long.
As somebody with a disability which means I cannot stand or walk for very long at all, this is proving to be a godsend, particularly in the kitchen. Previously I have tried perch stools (cumbersome and static), a wheelchair (too big and awkward for my tiny kitchen) and then saw a bolt of someone with MS who recommended this type of stool for use in the kitchen.I can adjust the height if I need to reach higher shelves or cupboards and because of its easy manoeuvrability, I can whizz easily between the sink, cooker and fridge (without having to do a three point turn like I had to in the wheelchair) it’s proving very useful indeed. The seat is wide and well padded and I have adjusted the backrest to the right place for me, so it is comfortable to sit on whilst I make dinner or bake something. My only gripe is that it is allegedly meant to take up to 400lbs in weight - and although I’m on the large side I am nowhere near that, but the seat does creak quite alarmingly when ever I sit or move off the seat. Does make me worry about its longevity. But so far at least, I am very happy with my purchase!

A great stool
I bought this as I cannot stand for very long due to my disability when preparing food, and had to rely on my husband to cook or prepare really quick things like toast or cereal. Now that I have this, I can actually stir things in a pan and cook much better meals. It is sturdy as long as you don’t lean forwards too far, so sit quite far back on it, don’t perch on the edge. Because my legs go either side of it as it’s a saddle style, I can get nice and close to the hob. It’s just tall enough for me to see into a saucepan when on the highest height and is sturdy with easy to roll wheels. It’s really helped me in the kitchen. The saddle is comfortable for 5-10 minutes for me and then I need a break but I suffer from pain throughout my body so it could just be that.

Good quality
A good quality stool but unfortunately the pommel was too wide for me & had to return. I was gutted as its a very good design & comfy for wider pelvis than mine !

Best thing ever
This chair has honestly been life changing I have chronic sciatica and am currently in one of the worst flare ups I have ever had so I have been unable to sit for longer than 10 minutes without extreme pain but with this chair I don’t get any pain I am honestly so grateful I bought it it’s not the softest but I’m quite honestly unbothered because i don’t feel pain in it

Sciatica inducing-wish I had never brought it 😞
I thought this chair would be really comfortable a nice mix for me to stand up and sit down whilst supporting my back. Back is not supported very well despite all the adjustments but more importantly I now have excruciating sciatica down one of my legs all down to the way this chair ‘aligns’ you. I’ve sat in a normal office chair for a week-no pain, been on holiday and sat in loads of chairs-no pain, a week back in this chair and I’m in agony. The one star is because it does look nice-but that’s about as kind as I can be…I would absolutely never recommend this product and sadly as I cant get a refund, and would not in all good conscience sell this to anyone-off to the tip it goes.I am so disappointed and in loads of pain with a condition I’ve never had before.

Really comfortable
I was sceptical about the comfort of this but have been pleasantly surprised. I have had 2 surgeries on my spine so sitting for any length of time is painful. This stool has been a game changer. It's well padded and really does help with posture. I still have to get up and wander round regularly but you should do that with any chair. You just need to be sensible in this regard. Very happy I chose this stool after looking at several others. Very good value for money
