The measurement the product uses to claim an increase in height is the outside edge, but that part of the insert is not supportive. The "body" of the insert (the part that provides actual support, is directly beneath the heel) is only around 0.5 inches when the edge is folded down. You can expect a height increase of slightly over one-half inch using these inserts.

They product is fine and does what is suppose to do. I just ordered the wrong size

First time I have ever used a shoe insert with a lift, so I chose the 1 inch height. It was noticeable! These insoles are easy to insert in your shoe, and stay in place while walking. They were comfortable and yes, made me feel a little taller (although I wouldn't wear them for running because they might impede your foot's ability to get a good heel strike).

These are WAY to narrow to fit comfortably in a men’s shoe. They don’t stay in place and are insanely uncomfortable.

I have these in a pair of New Balance tennis shoes size 7. They fit the heel area just fine and definitely increase your height. If you put them in too short of a shoe, your heel will feel like it's slipping out. The arch support is nice.

This is not very comfortable, especially for people like me with wider feet. They don't really hold in place too well. After a little bit they begin to shift and then become super uncomfortable. They are soft though and very light too. Price is ok.
