We bought these to replace dimmable Philips LED spots in our bedroom. We wanted to be able to dim the lights, change the colours and control remotely as my wife is severely disabled.They do exactly what we want. They fit within the existing fittings and provide a similar angle of light to the previous ones.They were easy to set up through the app and Alexa found them straight away once the Govee account was linked. The only issue I had was that my daughter had previously set up her Govee LED lights on a separate govee account and that had to be unlinked before I could link all lights to the same Govee account.Each light can be controlled individually but when set up as a group can be controlled together. We need to replace the wall dimmer switch but they work without issue on full power until we get this sorted.The Govee app does have some scenes such as meditation and Christmas which combine lights and sound. I can see the attraction for some, but it's a bit gimmicky for us. The different whites provide good options with the coolest one being very white and bright, showing up all the imperfections on the wall and tiniest cobwebs. :)So far the lights have always reconnected quickly when switched off and on at the light switch and they respond quickly to voice commands via Alexa. We do have a router set up as an access point in the bedroom so this may help with this.Having this control over the lights is liberating for my wife who has often had to rely on others to control the lights especially when she has migraines or is experiencing severe pain.My children now want us to get them the same lights for their bedrooms, if we do we will just need to be a little more imaginative with the names of the lights.

Very good bulbs, good brightness and range of colours, easy to use with or without the Govee app. Great value for money (I can replace all of my bathroom Hue bulbs (6) with these for the price of 2 Hue bulbs)

Good bulbs I had made the mistake in thinking they were matter compatible, but I did get them connected via wifi to my home assistant and their brightness selection of colours are great. I personally dislike the app as it's far too busy and annoying to use. But the lights are undeniable great. However, it's a shame you can't set a preset to come on, since they always turn on in the colour they were turned off in which generally isn't what I want if i've turned to mood lighting at night i generally want a warm white in the day turning on and off at a physical switch does have a fairly long display. Almost like your booting into windows first before you get any action.

I am very pleased with these. They connected easily to the app (I did them one at a time) and linking them to the Alexa app was straight forward as well. The app for the bulb let me group the two bulbs and enabled me to set the colour I wanted easily. I couldn't see how to set timings etc in the bulb app, to be fair I didn't try very hard as I knew I was going to use the Alexa app for that. The bulbs themselves are nice and bright, even when using a colour, brighter than the bulbs I had before that I controlled with a little remote thingy. Would happily buy these again.

These are the first smart lights for my home and I’ve always had a positive experience with Govee’s products, which is why I bought them.Not only are they easy to setup/install, but they work brilliantly with Alexa! This has transformed the way my lights work at home and I’m never going back to the “normal lights” that I had previously. You can set the lights to any colour, tone and brightness to however you want with the voice activated Alexa. You can also turn them on/off without having to manually do it yourself. I bought them on offer for £29.99 and I think this is one of the best deals I ever had since you get 4 bulbs per box.I’m really happy with this product and I can't find anything at fault with them. I typically use Phillips Hue bulbs around the house and don't normally like change but when these came up on offer I had to try them. We use them in our up and down lighters at the front of the house.Came well packaged with easy to read instructions. The app has a relatively easy user interface. No wifi bridge required which is beneficial. Can be easily controlled by your phone or by alexa.We have ours set to come on and off at certain times and it works seamlessly. The colour palette and scenes are vast. There is very little lag in the response timeI will be looking to purchase 8 more for our kitchen and 6 more for our bathroom.

Bought these to fit in some uplighters I bought. They work great. Such good value for money and they are so easy to use. They connect easily with the app and link with my other Govee lights I have. You can make great scenes and adjust the brightness to suite your needs. Possibly my new favourite brand in smart home tech!
