15.4 lb. Cast iron Cloche Inverted Dutch Oven with the same size and dimensions at 1-3rd. the cost!
Great value for a cast iron Cloche Inverted Dutch Oven at 1-3rd the cost of a brand name Bread Pan Cast Iron Loaf Pan with Lid with the exact same dimensions which "CHALLENGES" you to wonder why anyone would spend three times the amount of money for the same item but made somewhere other than the US? I have quite a few cast iron Dutch ovens from Camp Chef, Cuisinel, Pit Boss, Lodge and more but was looking at the US made cast iron Bread Pan Cast Iron Loaf Pan with Lid but with the cost of almost $300. was a no go for me. I then had seen this Cloche Loaf Dutch Oven, Pre-Seasoned, 9.5QT made by Sxmprail and a weight of 15.4 lbs. which is 4.6 lbs. less than the higher priced $300. us made baker, but still heavy at 15.4 lbs. which when you bake bread as I do, then you will know that when you have 15+ pounds of cast iron heating at 500° F for more than an hour that the thermal mass of the 15.4 lbs. will hold onto that heat for quite a while. I was very impressed with not only the quality of the pan, but they also provided a very nice set of accessories. And even though I already had them it was nice to see it provided at a cost of just over $100.00 with free shipping. If you want a great size cast iron Dutch oven and do not want to refinance a house to get the same size cast iron Dutch oven that runs $300.00 then you will be happy with this. The actual weight of the Dutch oven was exactly 15.4 lbs. weighed on a calibrated scale.Update: The first loaf using the new Cast iron Baker. A Coconut Milk and Honey sourdough loaf @ 2.4 lbs. Preheated the Cast Iron Baker for 1 hr. @500° F and then baked for 20 minutes and then uncovered and left for another 15 minutes @ 450° F.

Heavy duty pan, great size!
This is a really heavy duty cast-iron pan. It’s easy to clean (follow manufacturers instructions for the best results). I used it to bake bread with, With the dome as a cover, which was really, really, really heavy to remove at 425°! This pan could fit a good size roast and be used with the dome part as a deep pan. I expect it should last a very long time with proper care. And it’s great for baking sourdough bread in! I use it to make multiple small loaves at a time.

Works PERFECTLY!
I love this! At only 1/3 of the price for the more known/popular brand, it proves that you don't always have to pay the highest price for an item.

Works great
It seals up well, much easier than a regular dutch oven for round sourdough loafs, no silicone sling needed. I use a silicone free parchment paper.

Totally satisfied
I love this thing. I think it's better than those ones that cost two to three times more. More space inside and with theflatter top, you can use it upside down like a dutch oven, hey doubles the function. Being cast iron it heats evenly.Cleans really easy. For price, you can not beat it.

No regrets I love it
Bought it as a Christmas present for my wife. Avid sourdough baker. She has been very happy with the performance. Does a great job forming the crust on the bread we’ve done both round and oval loaf with no problems.
