I brought this as I was let down last minute by a friend who was supposed to feed the fish. This is well worth the money, I’m not the best with instructions but managed to program it and it worked brilliantly. It’s built really well and very easy to load the food with the spoon provided. The compartment for the food is perfect size and you can set it to feed every other day or choose the feed regime. Highly recommended this has made my holiday stress free

I've often looked at these to purchase for holiday feeding but haven't up until now found one that works with my hooded aquarium, they always seemed to be the hang on types that wouldn't fit under the lid, so wanted to test this one out.This feeder has performed okay so far, providing pellet food for my different species of freshwater temperate fishes and shrimps. I did have to play around with the settings at first. The amount of food dispensed can change depending on the type and how tightly it's packed in the feeder. However, after a few adjustments, It's been running okay for a couple of days now.As it advises in the listing it's not suitable for fish flakes due to humidity, so I will swap the food out to pellets when we go away.This product is worth a try - but also worth testing out before you go away to see how it works, especially considering the high humidity levels in an enclosed aquarium.

I love this. I was having issues remembering which day I had fed sinking food tablet as we alternate days. Now I set it up to come on once a day, just fill every other slot. Flake won't work in it due to mechanism but just feed manually. Batteries last for ages. Easy to take apart and clean before filling back up.
