Try it installed in ps4 controller perfect played for 4hours and still has 2 bars left,i would recommend this to anyone with a problem keeping a charge on ps4 controller works perfect.

Garbage. Plug on battery was NOT for ps4 controller. Had to modify/swap for old battery plug and then install. After overnight charge , got 15 mins before it died. Desided to not return and opened the plactic shell of battery. Is is some old piece of crap that has been placed in a shell marked sony. Fake Chinese scam product

Works great! I did have to look up a video to see how to switch the batteries but it took me a few mins to do and works great. Just make sure you receive the 2000mah. I first received a 1200 and had to contact the seller who took care of it very quickly.

It works, it will double the life of the battery in your DualShock 4 controller. However, it takes twice as long to charge as the original, 1000mAH battery already in your DualShock 4 controller. This may or may not be a problem, but its how it is. The reason I couldn't give this 5 stars is because the PS4 cannot recognize the increased size of this new battery so you, as the user, can no longer trust what the PS4 says the charge level is on the new battery. I've been using this new battery for a little over a month now with at least 50 full charges and depletes, and its looking like the PS4 will not re calibrate for the increased capacity. What I do is, once its dead, I plug it in and set a 4hr timer on my phone. 4hrs because the original battery only took 2hrs to charge - double the capacity, double the charging time. Once the timer goes off I unplug the controller. This increased charging time also poses a problem with the change Sony made to "Rest Mode" with the 2.0 update. This update makes 3 hours the most logical choice for the USB charging time for controllers, and other USB plug ins, but this new battery actually needs 4 hours for a full charge. My solution to this is that I no longer charge my dual shock with the PS4 and now I charge it via a wall outlet adapter. All in all, it does what it says it does, and I can't knock it for that. Lastly, don't use the micro USB cable provided, its complete junk, but since it really shouldn't be included in the first place, I did not dock the product another star.

Had some issues in beginning with the battery but 2nd one they sent worked as well I you would expect. Not too shabby.

Amazing battery are early before the date that was given and it was a speedy delievery im going to keep this sell for a back up when i want to get amother battery for my me and my family memebers that have a ps4 and the battery is going bad. Great job on the battery and delievery.

Ordered PS4 battery, got ps3, not 2000mAh either. It did power the controller, but since the battery does not fit properly it bangs around inside the controller.

It says it is for ps3 but works in both duel shock 3 and 4 which I am using it for. Last longer then the original.
