A Gentle and Effective Skincare Duo
I got this KraveBeauty Hydration Duo for my sister, and she's been using it for a few weeks now. The duo includes the Oat So Simple Skin Soothing Serum and the Great Barrier Relief Everyday Squalane Moisturizer, both of which are designed to hydrate, soothe, and repair the skin. The Oat So Simple Skin Soothing Serum is a lightweight, gentle formula that provides soothing hydration with oat extract. It's perfect for all skin types, including sensitive skin. My sister has noticed that it helps to calm her skin and reduce redness, making her skin feel more balanced and hydrated. The Great Barrier Relief Everyday Squalane Moisturizer is a rich, nourishing cream that repairs and strengthens the skin's barrier. It contains 10% Tamanu Oil, which is derived from Tamanu nuts. While most people don't have issues with this ingredient, my sister is aware of the potential for allergic reactions and has been careful to perform a patch test before fully integrating it into her routine. She's found that the moisturizer helps to keep her skin hydrated and protected throughout the day.Together, the duo works to ensure that her skin feels balanced, nourished, and calm. The products are easy to use and fit seamlessly into her skincare routine. She applies the Great Barrier Relief after cleansing and then follows with the Oat So Simple Water Cream to lock in moisture and provide additional hydration. One of the things my sister appreciates most about these products is that they are vegan, cruelty-free, and come in recyclable packaging. KraveBeauty's commitment to sustainability and ethical practices is a big plus for her.The only reason my sister gave this duo 4 stars instead of 5 is that the Great Barrier Relief can feel a bit heavy on her skin, especially in the warmer months. She sometimes finds that it takes a little longer to absorb, which can be a minor inconvenience.Overall, my sister is very happy with it. It's a gentle and effective skincare duo that provides the hydration and soothing care her skin needs.

Great set
This skincare set was wonderful. It feels good on my face, is easy to use, doesn’t have an overpowering scent, and keeps me feeling moisturized. Definitely recommend it for an affordable Skincare regimen!

Mixed feelings
If I was testing just the moisturizer, I would rate it a 5. It absorbs well and leaves my combo skin feeling supple and hydrated. The serum is a miss for me. I don’t like the scent, and I didn’t like the feel on my skin. If I had the option to buy these separately, I’d take the moisturizer and leave the serum.

Love the moisturizer -- there's too much in the Great Barrier Relief
I've always wanted to try the Great Barrier Relief and the Oat So Simple cream. After trying it for a few weeks, I had some thoughts --The good:The Oat So Simple cream is amazing. Its simple formulation means it's really packing in the moisturizer while refraining from acting out on your skin. It's cool once you put it on, and then glides and absorbs into the skin seamlessly. No weird smells. I love it. Without a doubt, I would buy it again. The meh:The Great Barrier Relief is a bit of a miss for me. For one thing, it smells horrendous -- it smells like algae. Which, you know, I suppose makes sense given the name. The other thing I don't like about it is the number of ingredients in it. For something meant to soothe your skin, it has a *lot* of ingredients that have potential to irritate your skin - for one, seed and fruit oils, and also Urea. Urea is a slight exfoliator -- and for me at least, it irritates my skin. After using this product for a week or so on the left side of my face, I noticed while putting on my makeup that the location where I've been putting on the serum was significantly redder/less smooth than before. Afterwards, I stopped - and now my skin is back to its original state. So I must say, for acne-prone or delicate skin people, I don't know if I'd recommend the Great Barrier Relief serum.Maybe just buy the moisturizer only - I know I definitely will.

Nice skincare duo
I really like this set of skincare products after using them for a few weeks now. After cleansing, I use the soothing serum on my face and follow it with the moisturizing cream. The serum has a light scent and it absorbs easily into my skin. The cream is light and smooth, it also absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated for a while after use. I love the all natural ingredients in these products and the way my skin feels after use. Overall, I'm happy with this set and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good serum + moisturizer combo.

Smooth and soft!
Both my 12yo daughter & tried out these products. The serum, as others have noted, has a mild maple kind of smell. We didn't mind it, but maybe not ideal for those who are very sensitive to scents. It glides on smoothly and feels great! The cream is light, with a very mild and natural kind of scent. It also glides on smoothly and feels great. This was too thin to be my go-to moisturizer in winter in New England (and for my aging skin), but my daughter, whose skin is usually a bit sensitive, loves it.I did a little experiment to see if it would pill when over applied, and it did. So I guess the advice there is not to over-apply.I found that one or both of these products made my eyes water a bit. For me, avoiding the eye area is critical. My 12yo didn't have this problem though.

Everybody Calm Down
I really like this duo! These two products are meant to soothe and restore the skin, and I do find that to be true. My skin tone has calmed down and evened out since I have incorporated these into my routine, and I am liking what I see when I look in the mirror without make-up! The serum can be used day or night, and works fine under make-up. The cream is watery, so I prefer to only use it at night because I find it is too wet for me to use under make-up.
