I searched long and hard to find a 2.5 qt. stainless steel saucepan with a glass lid that would also work as a lid for my small cast iron fry pan. I had already made up my mind that I was going to return anything that did not work. This fit perfectly. So happy. It's a beautiful heavy pan. I did notice spotting on the inside after boiling eggs and making macaroni and cheese a few times but we have really hard water and honestly, I care more about performance than beauty in a saucepan so it's a keeper.

the silicone on the lid and handles is really great--you don't need potholders to pick up a hot pot.Pot has a nice heavy bottom, so slow cooked food won't burn.

One of the best saucepans I have purchased . Incredibly well constructed and really conducts heat perfectly! I love the "lips" on the pan for pouring. The lid seals the pan so well! It is a bit heavy, but I see this as a real plus. A terrific value... I've paid twice as much for a pan like this with far lesser quality. The perfect little saucepan!

Was looking for a pot to use in my many recipes. From creams, puddings, sauces and such. When I received it I was quite happy. The first try was rice pudding. It worked beautifully. I would have given ut 5 stars except for the minor "specks" in the pot after washing. Not sure if my eyesight, they were tiny, or normal for this pot. Still, I love the weight and look of the PO and will continue using it. Will add the fifth star if I find it's normal.

I would give this ten stars if I could! The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was the weight. This pot has a heaviness to it that lets you know right away that it's construction is solid! The size is perfect for cooking pasta, soups, or anything you need a larger pot for. I am a happy customer.

Pot came with a dimple on the inside bottom. Don't know if this is a nick or an imperfection of the metal, but it's been polished. However, it's still a very obvious quality control issue.Updated 4/1/25:The silicone on the handle is essentially useless as it gets HOT. I can't touch it barehanded. This goes for both the 1.5 and 2.5 qt. pots.
