EXCELLENT MUTI-PURPOSE PROTECTOR
Most, if not ALL, of the reviews have been in regard to the use of this tape, and it's effectiveness, for post-tattoo use. I don't have, and I'm never likely to have, tattoos. BUT, I have found this very effective as a cover for cuts/grazes on myself and children.Exactly the same results, as with the tattoos, and I'm happy to recommend it for other uses, too ☺️👍👍👍👍👍

Very sticky. Don't try with a CGM sensor.
I got this roll of tattoo aftercare film wrap, along with a different roll of a larger size, to try out as an alternative to using clingfilm to protect my wife's diabetes CGM (Constant Glucose Monitoring) sensor on her upper arm. The sensor has a hole in the middle, and it needs protecting when she has a shower. She had been using clingfilm, but as we all know clingfilm has a mind of its own and is not the easiest stuff to use at the best of times, let alone to wrap around an arm one-handed. I had hoped this stuff would work better as it said it is adhesive but comes on a roll with backing paper so would be easier to cut to size and would be easier to apply and stay in place better. Unfortunately, the adhesive is much stronger than I expected and it would actually pull on the sensor when removed, risking it being pulled off completely. A pity, because I had high hopes for it. It's probably brilliant stuff for protecting new tattoos, but just not so good for CGM sensors. :) Oh well, live and learn.

Perfect for keeping tattoos clean in the early days
This is a great way to keep new tattoos clean, dry and on the path to healing in the first few vital days. I use this if I’m going to be swimming or in a dirty environment like gardening when my tattoos are fresh. I like to get tattooed on a regular basis as I have lots of ongoing work and this makes life very easy for me. Good for those who don’t heal quickly too. The size is perfect for small pieces but I’ve found it just as simple to layer it up in places that are larger than 10cm. It’s easy to place on and then peel the backing off to leave a watertight seal. No good if you’re sensitive to adhesives but I’ve not struggled. Good value and well made!

Not just for tattoos.
Great for any wound dressing really and has the added advantage of being cut to preference. I’ve been using it to cover my eye area that was in need of a moisture boost due to the cold and dry weather. I applied a thick layer of serum, cut this to shape, and slept through the night with it on. I woke up with my serum as it has been when put on without drying it all.The covers are easy to remove so long there’s at least some of the blue tape intact. It’s a bit fiddly to remove the top layer if there’s no blue section at all, but doable with a tweezer. It stays put until removed but leaves behind a sticky residue that needs an oil-based cleanser to wipe it off.Overall, versatile and useful for custom dressings. I’d be happy to recommend.

ideal for smaller tattoos and multiple pieces
The 100mm width is ideal for smaller tattoos and awkward areas, and the 10 metre length ensures there is plenty to last a while.Easy to apply, with the layer on the sticks side, and a backing layer with a pattern to you can see where it has been placed. Almost invisible on the skin when applied, creating a waterproof and bacteria proof layer to cover new and healing tattoos, and also for minor wounds. The second skin keeps moisture within, leading to better healing and less scarring/raised bits, or ink withdrawal from absorbent bandaging.Leave on for 2 to 3 days, you can shower as normal, I would probably avoid a bath as if there is a lifted edge it may soak under and peel off completely, but so far after use today and a shower, it has stayed in place and kept my tattoo covered, even when accidentally rubbed with a towel... I forgot I had my new ink done during the shower and towelled as normal, no lifted edges or peeling.5/5

Works great!
This is really good to have on hand when you have a new tattoo to help protect it when you need to wear tight clothing, are going to be in water, going to the gym, or similar activities. It sticks well .You get a decent amount in the roll and it’s not a bad price.

Excellent Tattoo Aftercare Bandage – Waterproof and Easy to Use!
I’m really impressed with the Unihuby Tattoo Aftercare Bandage! This 10cm x 10m roll is perfect for covering my new tattoos and keeping them protected during the healing process. The waterproof feature is fantastic – it keeps my tattoo safe from water, dirt, and bacteria, which is especially important when showering or swimming. The bandage is easy to apply and remove, and it stays securely in place without irritating my skin. It’s breathable, so my tattoo can heal properly while still being protected. I’ve used it for a few days now, and it has worked wonderfully, keeping my tattoo clean and free from scabs or infections.Overall, this tattoo aftercare bandage is a must-have for anyone looking to take care of their new ink. Highly recommend it for its convenience, comfort, and effectiveness!

Good for smaller tattoos
This second skin is a game changer and is perfect for fresh tattoos.I have found that my tattoos have healed much better and faster using these skins. My tattoos haven't scabbed as much and a lot of the colour has stayed intact. The roll isn't very wide so this is better for smaller tattoos. If you have bigger tattoos, you can overlap 2 pieces. The film won't stick properly if the skin is wet or has cream on so make sure your tattoo is fully dry before putting it on.The edges do struggle to stick properly sometimes so I just cut off the edges when it's on my skin. Be careful though. It's very waterproof and stays on during my showers, I'm unsure if it would stand up to soaking in the bath or not.I recommend to run it under warm running water when peeling off and pull it up and towards you, not outwards, it sounds strange but I have found that it hurts less. I don't recommend just pulling it off.I 100% recommend it.
