Q: Is this operated via provided key fobs?

Yes! The unit comes with two battery operated key fobs with on (quiet) and off (buttons). You can also easily program your C7’s driver vanity buttons to control the exhaust note without the fobs. Pretty cool!

Q: Can the home link buttons be programmed in lieu of using the remotes?

Yes! Easy to do, just like programming the visor buttons for a garage door remote. The procedure is spelled out in the Corvette owners manual.

Q: How can I know if it my 2018 stingray has the npp valves or not ?

You should be able to hear a change in the exhaust note by turning the driver mode selection switch from Track to Tour. If not, go to the rear of the car, bend down and look at the 4 tailpipe exhaust tips. Corvettes equipped with the NPP Dual Mode Exhaust will have exhaust valves attached on the outermost pipes. You should also be able to see a butterfly valve looking inside those pipes. You could also check the RPO sticker on top of the battery under the carpet on the right side of the rear compartment. It should include a "NPP" code.

Q: For the 3014 models, does the m2w keep the valves permanently open in sport/track mode vs factory setting of closing at 1.7k rpms?

I assume you meant 2014 models. With M2W you have 2 modes. In one mode you have the louder exhaust sound. In the other mode, everything works normal, as if you didn't have M2W installed. So the exhaust sound is controlled by driving mode or you can override that with setting on the infotainment screen. Instead of using the M2W remote, you can program two of the HomeLink buttons to control W2W. It's a good product. I love it!
