This is a vegan toner that tones lightness level 9+It will not lighten your hair, but removes the coppery tones of your bleach job (or of course if you run a bit coppery while natural.)It's tone is a pale lavender (purple). A cheaper substitute for those more experience may be their ultra violet purple tone and diluting with conditioner.Purple will only kill yellowness, for brighter orange a blue toner may be more effective.Personally, this toner did exactly what i needed. I kept it to condition whilst under some seran wrap under a beanie hat and let it do its job for 2 hours.

I've been using this product for years and always get excellent results. My Platinum hair is shiny and silky soft.1. I use Manic Panic 40 on my very dark brown and gray hair. I start at the nape and work up to the top of the crown. Use the plastic cap and leave for 20 minutes.2. The top of my hair has gone gray and is lighter than the back. After the first 20 minutes on the back has developed , I put the rest on the front and put the cap back on. I check every 10 minutes until front and back are an even light lemon yellow.3. When bleaching is even, I take a wide tooth comb and GENTLY comb through. This will reduce patches of yellow and gold.4. Wash twice. Yes, your hair feels stiff. ( Stiff is expected, Slimy is not)5. DO NOT CONDITION!!! If you seal the shaft you will not get even tone!6. Blow dry. I use a paddle brush.7. Apply Virgin Snow in sections. Use a Wide Tooth comb to gently distribute the toner. I leave it on 45 - 60 minutes. It's organic and won't damage your hair.8. Wash with high quality shampoo. I also use a Loreal Power Dose after washing.9. Highly recommend 'It's a 10' balm to finish.10. Style as you normally wouldGood Luck!

I purchased this to tone my hair a little until I have time to rebleach and tone my hair. I have very dry damaged shoulder length hair.I first washed my hair with a cleansing shampoo did not condition. Let air dry. I applied the manic to my crisp hair and covered with a shower cap and let sit on my hair for 60 minutes with light heat added.The first pictures are before I washed my 2nd day hair. (Wearing grey shirt) thr after photos I'm in a white pinkish robe. I see a little results on my ends where it was the lightest. The orange band I have between the light and dark not much difference.Next time I will go with a steel/blue toner. The product has no smell. My hair feels very soft. There were purple strands here and there.. but that's expected. It didn't stain my hands or nails. I will give this product another try just in a different shade. I hope this helps my blonde homies.

I first used Manic Panic when I was 16 to colour my hair bright pink. 12 years later and I still reach for the Manic Panic when I want to play around with my hair. Their products never disappoint. But please, follow the directions exactly, they won’t let you down!

First off.. It's so thick you can't get it out of the bottle.. then when you do after struggling with trying to get it out of the bottle.. It did not turn my bleached hair white it turned it a light blue. I don't want blue hair I wanted white. I do not recommend this product at all! And I threw the package away so I can't return it! I will not buy this product again!
