Perfect size to use for a teapot
The thread is the perfect length to tie onto the handle. So it doesn’t fall in the tea. Only had one spill tea, but it was my fault. I hadn’t tightened the string top. I have used it for herbal and black teas, no issues for either one. I’ve used it in a teapot with a candle heater, no issues there as well. Great bags. Bought some for my mom to try, hoping that it might switch her over to loose teas : ).

Durable Cotton Teabag Filters🌷
I'm always looking for good deals on cotton teabag filters, and this one is great. If any of the companies sold the bags in larger bulk, I'd purchase it in a heartbeat. These teabags are large, spacious, clean and perfect for filling with a variety of herbs. They don't smell funny whatsoever, they're packaged really well, and they're easy to use. These cotton woven bags are much more durable than regular paper filters. They don't tear apart easily unless you physically pull it apart at its one vulnerable part, where the strings tie together. These teabags are perfect for your homemade herbal tea blends. I use them every single day to bag my various herbal blends and trust them completely. I highly recommend these! ♡

Great value, excellent product
I love mixing and combining my loose teas and these work very well. They are very sturdy and you can use them twice if you are so inclined. Each package has 4 zip lock bags filled with tea bags and is so easy and convenient to use. I highly recommend!

Great for making quantities of tea bags.
I got these bags a while back because the company that I used to buy from didn't have the bags I wanted. I make a lot of (medicinal) tea, and bought these to fit the bill. The ONLY drawback is that the material that they are made from, although sturdy, is slippery, and so I hand tie each and every bag that I make. After a while, you'll develop a rhythm, like I have and it'll be nothing to you. The product is good, the price is right, and so I'd recommend these to anyone who makes their own teas.

4.5 Stars - Great price and quality. A few minor negatives...
I did a lot of research to find a quality tea bag with a large quantity, good price, and positive reviews. Overall, I’m very pleased (4.5 stars) and will purchase these again. Here are my pros/cons:Pros: 400 quantity for under $13, soft material, closes pretty well overall (though I knot the base of the string to be extra safe), durable, can be re-used for multiple steeps, great tasting tea.Cons: Tea bag floats so I have to weight it down with a spoon; tea soaks up into the string so I have to remove the tea bag when I’m ready to drink it or it dribbles.Very pleased overall and would recommend to others.

Perfect!
These were exactly what I wanted. I don’t think they are paper like other ones. They don’t fall apart. A little big but I don’t mind.

Works Perfect!
These worked out so well! To close them up nice and tight, I folded down the flaps that the string runs through (like you’re rolling up a sleeve) and tied it so nothing fell out and it looked super cute!

Very strong and work well
Wide mouth for filling and a draw string to secure your tea. Excellent for gifts. They are strong enough to reuse

Misleading - NOT COTTON, but rather plastics (polypropylene / polyethylene material)
Came across this item when I was searching for cotton teabags - the title is a bit misleading and most of the reviews are inaccurate. Turns out most people can't tell the texture of cotton by touch, the one person who said this is made of plastics (pp/pe) is correct. Just do a simple lighter burn test (as per my photos) - the string IS made from cotton but that's about it, the teabag burns like regular plastic. So just be aware of what you're buying into. I don't normally bother leaving Amazon reviews but this one pissed me off enough to leave this as a heads-up to potential buyers.
