Q: Can you turn the lights off and on? Or are they on the whole time?

Mine has a switch under the umbrella to turn the lights on and off; however, I also have an issue: the lights don't turn on, like they are not properly charging. The panel is always exposed to the sun light the entire day. Now, do I have to keep the switch on to ensure the charging?

Q: My solar panel arrived disconnected; is there anyway to repair or replace?

The solar panel should arrive disconnected. Step 3 in the product assembly illustrates how to screw the solar panel onto the pole and connect the wiring harness and connect the wiring harness into the solar panel. If the solar panel is damaged then it appears that a replacement solar panel could be requested. However if the wiring harness is damaged then, you don’t want to repair that, you want to request at minimum the upper umbrella replaced.

Q: How many inches wide across of the umbrella? (Without the pole)

it is 10 feet across or 120 inches

Q: Has this lasted longe than a year for anyone? I'm getting pretty discouraged by all the negative reviews.

I purchased mine in 2020. Left out year round in MI. I purchased red so the color is faded in some spots, but overall the umbrella is in great shape still
