Sterile Eye Pads, 50 Count

I've tried many different bandaging options for my eyes following procedures that safely protect, are comfortable and stay in place and these eye pads with the proper tape were hands down the best. Adhesive eye pads get uncomfortable quickly and if your eye waters the adhesive quickly comes loose, meaning frequent replacing throughout the day. They don't look as tidy as the oval adhesive patch, but for me eye protection with minimal pressure vastly outweigh my fashion sense, especially immediately following a procedure. With the right tape, it requires less overall tugging on the fragile skin around your eyes compared to adhesive patches.

This is my second order of the Dukal Sterile Pads. I am using the pads to tape an eye shut at night, and when folded in half, they are the perfect size for that task. The quality of the pads is excellent, and they offer very good protection. I highly recommend these eye pads!

After laser surgery to correct retinal detachment. Just put one of these over the eye and then tape in place using non-irritating tape. Good to go.

Great eye pads at a very reasonable price. Wife is using following corneal transplant surgery to ensure she doesn't rub her eye and do any damage while sleeping. They are working fine for this application. She has very sensitive skin and has found that 3M's Nexcare sensitive skin tape holds well and is excellent for her skin.

Good eye pads for styes or eye infections that require warm compresses - better than using a clean washcloth each time. The edges aren't completely sealed but the eye pad doesn't fall apart when you soak it in warm water and the pads themselves are thicker than using plain gauze pads. The only problem was that the box it came in was completely crushed - the mail carrier probably smashed it into my mailbox - so I had to put them in a different box.

My dad unexpectedly lot his eye. He was discharged from hospital with a couple of these. When we ran out I drove around to just about every local pharmacy and was frustrated nobody carried any kind of eye shaped dressing. Luckily Amazon saved the day. These are pretty much just like the ones the hospital had been using. Dad likes them because it is easier wear his glasses with this gauze covering his missing eye and looks neater. Before ordering these we'd been folding 3x3s which was somewhat bulky and hindered his glasses sitting on his nose properly.

Just the right size. Like the Three Bears would say: not too big, not too small.

I used these while recovering from a vitrectomy and they worked perfectly. They are comfortable to wear and easy to remove.
