Good quality product
The item matches the description perfectly. It is built to be heavy-duty, ensuring durability and strength, making it ideal for demanding tasks. Additionally, the price is quite reasonable considering the quality and performance it offers. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone in search of a reliable and sturdy option.

Bang for the buck? A good deal
I work on the water (passenger ferry). One of my jobs is teaching new crewmembers the various aspects of boating. Not all of them aspire to be navigators or captains but still need to know at least the basics of chart plotting. The higher end chart plotting tools can be a bit cost prohibitive to a new crewmember who may very well have just gotten out of high school. For example: A set of Weems & Plath dividers are probably 10 times the cost of this economy set of dividers. So for those that don't need top of the line gear, this at least gives them the ability to learn the basics at a 1/10th the cost.

Perfect
Does exactly what it says- perfectly functional compass for $2! It’s metal, not plastic, & same size as what we used to use back in school. Easy to use, looks sturdy, & adjustment is easy for anybody.

Metal Leg not Easy to Handle
I generally feel Westcott products are of decent quality. I bought this because I only need a compass and this is a good price. It's ok in general, very sturdy with a small angle measurement at the hinge (which I guess is helpful for professionals). But the metal leg is designed with sort of blade-like, since it's steady, it's hard to pull and adjust the leg. Every time I try to adjust the leg, I had to be careful not to cut my skin... it's not that sharp, but definitely not the easiest to handle.
