Looks like it's solid when assembled, but assembly is a bit tricky. Here are some tricks that will make your life much easier for that side then happy use...1. Make sure that all of the screws in the brackets are loose, best if the silicon pad is even with the inside surface of the bracket, but be careful as going slightly looser and the screw will fall out. Also be careful if the screw falls out as the silicon pad can come out of the end of the screw. If that happens push is in using a flat surface like a counter top.Do your assembly indoors in case a screw comes out.2. Assemble it upside down! Put two pieces together using a top bracket to hold it in place and very lightly set the screws so there is minimal pressure on the glass, then move around the circle, using only the top brackets to hold the glass in place. Push the glass as tight into the midline of the bracket as you can and again for each screw tighten very lightly.3. Now go around adding the foot brackets between each glass piece and lightly tighten each screw. When all are in place, take a tape measure to ensure you have a circle (measure across from bracket to bracket).4. Once all of the brackets are in and you have a circle, then go around the unit gradually tightening the screws. Don't try to tighten each one down fully. Tighten slightly, go to the next bracket, repeat and then start the sequence again. This will prevent any glass from fracturing and keep everything aligned and symmetrical.Updated report after two uses. First, it works like a charm. We had a warm day (50 degrees) but windy (15-18 mph). Performed great. Second a word or caution. Almost lost one of the rubber feet moving the wind guard. Going to use some high temp adhesive to secure them in place.

So after looking around, taking measurements, and reading reviews. I decided to purchase this. It arrived packaged very well. Cardboard inside Styrofoam, inside more Cardboard, inside more Styrofoam. The instructions were very simple. As in not a lot of detail, but pretty straight forward. Now as for assembly, I read a lot of negative reviews. That it takes forever to put together. That inserting the last glass pane is a fight that is nearly impossible. Well I can tell you that my experience with assembly was so far from that. Everything went together beautifully. Took 10 minutes at best. As for the "caution hot" etched into the glass. It does not distract from the beauty of the assembly. I'm actually happy it is there. That way people that come over know better. If I could have given this six stars I would have. Loving the functionality and beauty this adds to our fire pit table.

We got a new fire pit and needed a wind guard to keep the flames from flying around in the wind. After a lot of research, I picked this one. Our pan is 18 x 18 square and flares out to 19.5 x 19.5 on the top. We got the 23.5 x 23.5 square and it fit perfect. The glass is tempered and feels strong. The fasteners are aluminum and are well made. It also has rubber feet on the bottom. Not hard to put together. We love it and highly recommend this. I called the company direct to ask questions before I placed the order and the customer service is outstanding. Amazon shipping was so fast and was packed well. It really adds that extra classy look to the table. We are very happy.

We love it except it’s a pain to put together and sometimes the glass panels shift a little when we move it. High quality glass. Elevates the look.

Absolutely terrific product, easy to install and put together a few parts, and only a few screws. Looks absolutely beautiful and highlights the fire with reflective images on both sides. It enhances the look of the fire by 10 for me. Only downfall you have to wait for a while for it to arrive took longer than expected but I’m happy with the result.
