Burly Brand 13-1/2" Stiletto Shock B28-1253

Bought these for my dyna fat bob, (fxdf) as an upgrade from stock. They are a we bit longer than stock which raised the bike up just a Scosche, which is actually kinda nice being as i can take corners a little sharper without dragging my pegs or pipes. I personally didn't have to mess with drive belt tension as it still sits within the tension range. They are definitely more comfortable feeling going down the road with, at the very least, just me on it. Haven't tried 2 up yet, but being as they are still set to level 1 on the preload, I have tons of room to play with for riding with the old lady. I sit at right around 260 lbs btw and have zero issues with bottoming out on the first preload. Installation is easy as can be and took me took MAYBE 20 minutes with a floor jack and some basic hand tools. Only down side I've noticed is being as it raised the bike a bit, while its sitting on the jiffy stand it does make the bike lean over further. Could be a problem if parking on a slope or uneven terrains. Definitely worth the money and I'd buy them again for a different bike with no hesitation.Edit: so after riding 2 up with them several times, and after about 6000 miles on them so far, I gotta say I still like them alot. My human backpack and I both agree it's more comfortable for our backs over the stock shocks. Through trial and error, we found that on preload setting 1 and 2 with both of us on it, it will bottom out all the time on setting 1 and on harder bumps on setting 2, but 3 seems to be our goldilocks setting. Not too hard, not too soft.... Juuuuuust right.

I don't normally write reviews on products I but off of amazon, but I felt like I should with this one. These shocks are great. I had purchased my '16 fxdb a couple of years ago and it had some shocks on there that lowered it. I got tired of getting my spine crunched everything I hit a bump and did some research for some new shocks. Found these 13.5" shocks for way cheaper than others and did some research to find that they are in fact a good product. Got them in yesterday and rode to work today. Day and night difference! If you want to feel like you can corner like a dirt bike while still having the power of your harley get these. The absolute added plus is that those spine crunchers are dampened substantially. All of this plus you can get that clu lb style stance without breaking your wallet in typical harley fashion.

The dual rate springs ride smooth and the +1" length raised my bike to a nice height for me. Great price and finish of these shocks is top notch.ig/ @Lane_h73

Had some progressive 440s on my Dyna for a long time it is time for it to go down the road to somebody else so I've decided I'd put shocks on it since they had 26,000 miles on them should have done it years earlier I figured I had $600 shocks they had to be really good but these budget burley's ride better than those 440s ever did smooths out my bumpy ass road impressed with the quality oh yeah and they look badass

I wasn’t sure about going 13.5 up from the 12 inch stick shocks.I like em !I hope they ride well but will surely outperform stock.

Good bang for your buck easy adjustments for a comfortable ride completely changed the way my 05 fxd handles

I cannot believe how much better these shocks are than stock! It is so incredibly noticeable immediately, I definitely would buy again! They definitely rais up your bike an inch but I am glad because I am 6'5 and also I would scrape my 2 into 1 and now is much much better for cornering can't wait for a long ride, it's still super cold here in north Idaho.. just buy em!
