I do love this bag.It ts sturdy and the zipper is perfect never snagged or came of or has broken. But the one side which made me buy it has a curse word on it which is fine ME, But I wouldn't think it be good to take to school. That is up to You and your Kid. YES

This bag is good for carrying insulin you are using everyday. But if you meant in the frig. Sure you can also use in da frig. like if you have insulin pens or any insulin that you can put in the bag. its sturdy as well as FUNNY.
